Wide Sargasso Sea
Has anyone read that yet? I think I might check out a copy soon and give it a shot. I love the Jane Eyre novel, but I admit that I feel bad for Rochester's first wife.

The '83 Clarke/Dalton version is the hands-down best adaptation I've ever seen. It really captured the spirit of the novel perfectly, and the lead pair have unstoppable chemistry. I could sit and listen to their repartee all day.

Saddest diseases?
