Actually, I think "fatal" means MORE than what you think it means. Try looking up the definition of a word before you make fun of how others use it.

I think that Jenna's grandmother may have been the one who FIRST wrote the letter.

If as some have speculated upthread the timeline is not an alternate one but instead actually their own, then I suspect that being sent back to before the KT extinction event is not a flaw but rather a "feature."
