As with too many characters, it seems the showrunners like the guy too much to want to do the sensible thing, same way that I'm getting the alarming sense that we won't be rid of Cersei and Jaime after this season…..

Because they seem to get off on that stuff- look at so much of the writing in the series, and it clearly can't all be blamed on Martin……

For any part of that, come to think of it….

It doesn't help that a lot about how they've used this character is already suspect- first, they give him an inexplicably big navy, and then he doesn't use it the one time it would have really come in handy?

It's also why Thoreau had his mom bake him so many cookies!

Lusty boo!

What did they do to deserve that?

Same way it seems they're going to keep a wide variety of characters past when it made any logical sense…..

And that was in an era that was regarded as being prettied up, compared to 1970s TV actors…..

His feelings couldn't take it!

Well, as vital as any police officers can be in Miami…..

But that would be Notlob!

Problem is, studio executives have no shame, so…..

I'm not sure we can rule out Southern California…..

Including the three weeks he spent off announcing hockey to have the world kick his ass at it, only for him to immediately return to commentary again?

Which is how we ended up with Allison in the first place…..

A Sorcerer Supreme was Coltrane's best album, I should say.

They keep that for leverage later….

That's Don King, isn't it?

So, how do you suppose he alienated him, the way he did Trace and Frank?
