Also also wik, the opposite is true for Ponyo. I live in Japan and haven't seen the English version, but the original was basically for kindergarten-age kids. I don't mean to shit on it or anything, I just never really got why it seemed to be so huge with grownups in the West.

I know it sounds pretentious as hell, but honestly Akira makes more sense if you watch it in (and understand) the original Japanese. To be fair, though, it really only makes SLIGHTLY more sense, but still.

Same exact thing I thought.

Peter O'Toole = Best Jesus EVER.

The Bridge on the River Kawaii: $20-26?! You mean like from one of the smaller local places? A Domino's/Pizza Hut large with, say, 3 toppings or so costs like 3500 yen (here in Osaka, at least).

@Edgewise

dp> Since I have yet to see either of the finished versions (Asia/US) I don't know if they implemented our changes in the Asian one and then changed those for the US version, or if they kept the Asian one the way it was and used ours for the US version, but if what you say is true then from now on I'll just go ahead

Nope, my boss (I work for a translation/localization company that developers like From contract games to) had to buy a copy to bring around for business presentations and the like.

Dialogue?
Can someone tell me if the story/general dialogue parts of this game are any good, or are just cheesy crap?

Rules
Sorry about the long, confusing rules, Gus. I tried to break it down as simply as possible, but they insisted on having all this long-winded text to bulk up the menu screens, as there isn't much variety in the game itself. I'll try a little harder next time, I promise!

Sorry, I honestly just kinda wanted a gold frame.

Just wondering, do they sell Suntory in the States?
