Let's see, I saw The Master. I don't know if I have much to add beyond what's been said except that I saw it in 70mm which was incredibly gorgeous, the shots of the boat's wake were the best.

I was at the show in Williamsburg last night, they played the entire show with the flowers as the sole decoration on stage. I have to say, this story was some of the best stage banter I've ever heard and at least a few people cheered when she name checked the AV Club.

I loved this week's TAL more than I have for a while, but then again I've been an American living in China before. Evan Osnos and Kaiser Kuo were definitely the right people to talk to. An hour can only scratch the surface of what China's like these days, but the information delivered was pretty accurate.

Mine was awesome, particularly if you stretch the definition of a weekend. On Wednesday night I saw The Tallest Man on Earth at Town Hall, it was wonderful. He is such a charming and engaging performer. There was one super huge douche in the audience, but I was proud of the way the audience shut him up.
