Goddamn, did I miss this show. I've rewatched "kick the can" a shameful amount of times over the past year.

After watching the first few episodes: this has quickly become one of my absolute favorite shows on TV at the sec, and that's saying something. It's the perfect manifestation of stream of consciousness absurdity that I've been searching for in this hellscape of prestige television.

I'm really sorry this took so absurdly long; my computer totally lost its shit and I had to restart it like 6 times, and the whole process takes about 9 hours. Presently uploading to Mega, and I got it down to <1gb while preserving quality, though.

Presently working on the downscaling, estimated 3 hours until I'll have it uploaded in a 2gb scale. Don't you worry!

Mm, if you want to be that reductive about it, that certainly describes the basic elements of the show. Also, you get Difficult People, which is stellarly underrated in most circles.

Buuuut you can watch Casual, which is pretty damn well worth it.

Hell yeah, Saints and Strangers actually got some recognition!!! That was waaay better than I had ever expected, and totally worth a watch.

Netflix reeeeally doesn't do good trailers. Like, yeesh.

Mm, gonna disagree with you on that one on account of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Wayne's World 2, Hot Shots: Part Deux!, Gremlins 2, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Army of Darkness, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, among many others I'm sure others would be happy to name.

I mean, that's closer to the X3 Angel. I like the more Warren-centric version, but Apocalypse seems to be going down the Archangel route pretty much immediately, which is my personal fave; Vaughn always nails the "team" dynamic, and considering Warren's (and the young X-Men in general) arc is probably going to be

Ooooooh, ya jinxed her. *cue another one bites the duuust*

I don't know what's happening anymore in this show, and I goddamn love it. For those that didn't hear, Syfy renewed it for a second season, so prepare yourselves for some dancing hircussid shadows in the near future!

I totally gotcha. I've always pictured something like this http://vignette1.wikia.noco… to be a bit more on point though, considering that (keep in mind, all conjecture) the wing's coraccid is kinda a continuation of the shoulder blade in Angel's case, so it'd be natural to sorta stick up above his head when at rest,

Not that I wasn't already sold on this movie, but: just having Angel use his wings as an offensive once again reminds me that Singer actually gets that the powers aren't just for show, but for functional purposes, too; the diversity of power-usage in First Class and DoFP vs. the original trilogy is absurd when you

I mean, Nightcrawler's had enough incarnations that "terrified religious zealot" kinda worked for me. But yeah, I think a lot of the reason why I loved First Class and DoFP so much more than any of the original series was because they actually made the characters feel like, yanno, characters, while maintaining some

I think CGI is finally to the point where they can actually handle the realistic feather movement to a degree that does justice to Angel's range of abilities. I'm curious to see how far down the Archangel path he'll go in Apocalypse, because those action scenes would be absolutely kiiiiller.

I'm stoked as hell to see Angel actually get some action scenes. Always been my fave X-Man, and having him get so thoroughly shafted in X3 was an absolute crime I'm still rejoicing that DOFP cancelled out.
