Goddamn, I forgot how much I loved how gloriously absurd this show was. I'm not sure I've laughed out loud that hard at a TV show in god knows how long at the cabin killer reveal.

GOT THIS ONE IN TIME
PRAISE BE

I've been hailing the next few years as Syfy's new golden age, when they finally catch up with the whole "peak tv" thing, now that they've got Childhood's End, The Expanse, The Magicians, 3001: A Space Odyssey, Old Man's War, and Dragonriders of Pern under their belt, and seem to be actually investing a hella

True that. Between that, V1 of The Muppets, and China, IL, I'm gonna seriously miss some of those that we lost in 2015.

Can't really say too much by first hand experience, but hell no. This is literally about Da Vinci, during his proper historical time through proper historical events, basically acting the role of an ENGINEERING SUPERHERO. It's amazing.

GodDAMN am I going to miss DaVinci's Demons. That show seriously held a certain batshit ingenuity that few others have ever presented.

Additionally, having Weta studios do the Art design and stuff is an absolute godsend. That was a perfect choice, considering how damn important the aesthetic of the universe is towards making the Expanse feel real.

Aww, c'mon, don't throw The Brink under the bus like that. It was shaky, but I got way more solid laughs out of that this season than I ever expected going in. I'm going to genuinely miss it.

Well, this show keeps blowing my expectations out of the metaphorical airlock. I can't believe the production value Syfy has managed to shove into this thing. Praise be.

Aww, I like Havelock later on. He was fun.

It's an Earther thing. Fairly common in the rural US at that point.

Honestly, Leviathan Wakes. It does some of the most incredible world-building I've read in years while pulling off its byzantine plot, AND sets up an entire universe of stories to be told. I adore the whole concept of "expanded universe" literature, so it was pretty near perfect, for my tastes.

It totally goes off the rails, but in the best way possible. Nemesis Games is my second favorite, by a long shot.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to genuinely miss the Muppets over the next couple of months. Come back soon. :(

In case anyone else isn't watching season 2, this is literally some of the greatest television I've ever seen. David Rees is a god.

I don't usually approve of V-necks, but I'm definitely making an Oy V ey tshirt ASAP.

Just like a firework.

Now, if they included the German falling off a cliff while sleep-shitting off a cliff, I'd be totally down.

Before this episode, I could've counted the shows on one hand that have made me laugh out loud so far this year. After that Fraggle Rock joke, congrats to DP for forcing me to two hands!

Winner winner chicken dinner.
