Yeah, and there are countless male directors who marries their much younger star, and yet that's not as newsworthy.

This is probably my favorite answer to who Bob Benson is.

How is everyone reading the scenes between Du Maurier and Hannibal? I really liked how intense they were, because we still don't really know the extent at which she is aware of his crimes, they can be read both ways, even after the fact that she knows how Hannibal took care of the patient who attacked her. It's almost

Also, I totally want a gif of Glen's "keep in touch"

Awesome episode, but my one minor complaint in this episode is that thing they do in tv shows. Have two characters see something interesting, and then cut to them having traveled back to their home and then start talking about it, as if they wouldn't have been chatting about it during the travel itself.

" When, or if, Dr. du Maurier finds out that Hannibal is actually a murderous people-eater, she’s going to think back to this conversation and give a herself a major forehead slap for not figuring it out sooner."

WHAT IS LOVE

it's pretty nutty huh? Good or bad, it'll be interesting to see how season 5 pans out.

I'm surprised by my feels when I recognized Muth in the episode.

I don't think Bob Benson is evil as Ken says - but there was that episode where it seems like Bob's sort of the guy Don used to be before he got successful. He's making friends with the right people, he's people pleasing as much as he can while climbing that corporate ladder, he's kissing asses left and right. Not to

I remember watching a random episode because I saw a familiar face - Michael from The Wire - in it. But boy, that acting was fart and the show was awful. Uh…that's about it. I'm surprised to see an article on avclub about this show that I had no idea was still running, so hence this comment.

In the span of seven episodes, we probably needed maybe 2 scenes with Theon to remind viewers he's still around and to get a sense of where the character is at storywise. One of him being tortured, two of him being rescued, his speech about Ned and the stark kids, and then being brought back into the torture chamber.

I don't think there's an issue with the writing itself (individual lines and dialogue wasn't too bad or anything) but just the entire construct of and idea for the episode was downright awful, which would be more of a writers room/showrunner issue….I think?

I kind of just want to scrub my brain and cleanse it of this episode. NEVER HAPPENED ITS A DREAMMMMMMMMMM

Yeah. The Joffrey on the show seems a tad more smart, so it makes him more maniacal and cunning, while book Joffrey is still a little shit, but he comes across more like a super bratty teen rather than a ruthless killer; his wimpiness is more pronounced in the books (or maybe more akin to S1 Joffrey where he still

I'm pretty excited to see what his reaction would be to RW. I'm always excited to see what people's reaction of RW are, for anyone who doesn't know what's coming, because I remember SO WELL how I felt after that chapter in the book. I literally had to put the book away for a few days to deal with all the feels.

SPOOLERS book 3 (and possibly 4)

oh wait, you're right, she was copy chief at CGC.

Also, what about the most important thing that happened in this episode?
RICKON SPEAKS HOLY SHEEEEET

Love Peggy's look when she sees Don in Ted's office. And the way Ted makes Peggy's demotion from Creative Director back to Copy Chief sound like something that  she should celebrate…Awww poor bb
