I was unaware of this album. My response to the title was "there is no possible way this article will be as interesting as what I'm imagining right now."
I ran in to a guy from high school who'd lost 3 fingers in an accident at work, so was now on permanent disability. He referred to the finger-loss as "really lucking out."

I'd imagine a lot of them start more in one column, then gravitate to the other. In particular, I'd imagine it's more common for someone to believe they're playing a media character, and then get swept up in their own hype.
