I take instances like the placebo explanation as audience service. Someone who takes a drug that is in clinical trials is going to figure out how it works over time, but the show doesn't have the time for us to sit around and figure it out like one would in real life. So the doctor explains it as exposition.

Yeah, I audibly gasped at the Ex Parte conversation.

Came to see Kether, got approximately .15 seconds worth.

Pod F. is over. Spontaneanation is where it's at now.
And of course, he's always great on Comedial Bing Bong.

Laurie's conversation with Kevin clears a lot of that up for me. ie, all Patty's rambling is Kevin's conscience/subconscious.

The Train is how movies SHOULD be made.

This is not a mystery to be solved. It's an exploration of how we deal with mystery as a people, culture, society. TWD's very own Serena Southerlyn moment.

In dramas, I see The Leftovers, Fargo and Better Call Saul as head and shoulders above all other competition. Interesting that all three are serialized by season and are perhaps the most cinematic in their storytelling.

Kid Cudi was on point all episode, starting with his little fart noise when he and Scott were giving Mr. Battlecorridor the cold shoulder

Couldn't look at Scott without thinking of this

People keep referring to fingers. Wasn't it a thumb?

He didn't even speak about race. He said he saw a little news coverage of some fatalities involving police, and had the urge to tell the world that murderers are murderers.

What's confusing about subway tile backsplash? Is it backsplash? That's the area on the wall behind the sink in a kitchen or bathroom. They tiled that area with the same style tiles as you would find in the subway. Basically a plain brick arrangement, usually bright white.

Or the writers prefer to 'let the mystery be?!?'
