Man, Imsomnia sure gets a bad rap.  It's really a pretty good movie, I just think that after Memento was so incredible whatever he did next wouldn't be able to live up to it. 

The problem for me (even above the end to BB, which I thought was perfectly fine for a comic book movie) was that Dent's fall wasn't believable.  If being in that much pain made him so crazy he throws away everything he's worked for because his girlfriend is dead then he probably couldn't have gotten out of that bed. …

This seems like an extreme stance on characters Moore freely admits to adapting from the Charleston line that DC had acquired…Besides, if this were the case wouldn't you hate every artist who's worked on Batman or Superman since thier original creators screwing over has been pretty well documented?

I'm with you—it's amazing that a 2:45 movie felt rushed in places…

He stuck the landing much better on this one than he did with TDK…all that Two-Face stuff was not done well and was the least plausible part of the entire film.

That was the one thing about this movie that really bothered me—I don't think the time passages were explained well.  Hell, everything seemed like it happened in a couple of days and I never really felt sure how much time had passed between one scene and another.  I guess those Wayne Enterprises people had been living…
