The average girl…taking a bath in blood and milk. It's an odd video.

The marines brought the sentry guns with them. They show them unpacking them (and I think they're actually labeled and you see them—the large crates containing them to be precise—being loaded) and setting them up.

I've never, ever seen that version largely because of all the reasons you mention. I own the anniversary edition and found the deleted scenes interesting and loved the explanations of why they were cut.

Alien 3 easily has the best "making of" documentary. So much tension and studio fuckery on that movie that Fincher still won't have anything to do with it (the "directors cut" was assembled based on his notes—he didn't personally oversee anything). There is a lot in that movie to appreciate, notably his style of…

On the other hand…the TV version of "The Naked Gun" had a lot of extra, just as funny material that I have never seen since. I've always wondered why they didn't add it as deleted scenes on any of the DVD releases…

If you can look at any of Giger's work and NOT see a vagina then you probably need your own medical category, as I'm not sure what to call it but there's clearly something wrong with your vision. The blu-ray really highlights the giant vagina-entrance on the giant vagina ship.

I'm with you—I do not care for the extended version of what is already an overly-long and somewhat muddy (pun intended) film anyway. The original is great for a lot of reasons (mostly set-pieces and iconic moments), but it tends to get overpraised since it goes off the fucking rails during the last half-an-hour. The…

You may want to edit that post—it looks like you put "worst" where you clearly meant "best."

As Whovian says, the military is very big on teaching you the proper way to pull a trigger. Having virtually no experience with guns until I joined the military it came as quite a surprise how much you really have to learn about how to properly shoot someone.

I'm with you—to this day Star Wars is still the film I've seen the most in a theater. I believe that I saw it nine times (not counting the re-releases). It helps to have been 8 when it came out…also, that movies played for ridiculously long times at theaters back then. I still remember the ads for Raiders of the…

Aw I love the scene where you can tell he's there…but only if you're looking for him. Although I do get confused—was that "hanging around" scene not in the original cut as well?
