I damn near revolted when I read it….of course I've had that reaction from Ned's beheading to the Red Wedding to Jon's ending (?) in book 5.  It's almost a matter of course now that every book will have at least one point where I'm all "Fuck  you Martin!!!"  But at least Arya is still alive, and getting more bad-ass

Friday night:  Hunger Games (and pretty well liked it too)
Saturday night:  Basketball!!!  Go CATS!!!
Sunday:  afternoon: finished the re-watch of GoT season 1.  Evening: GoT season 2 episode one (and pretty well liked it too)

I'm a big fan of Blizzard's april fool's jokes.  I haven't played World of Warcraft in over a year but I still check their website every April Fool's to see what they have.  This year it's "Blizzard Kids" (games using things like the zerg from Starcraft to teach kids spelling) and the authenticator/pet thing.

I've contributed to that about 30 times all by myself.  It's the worst movie I love the best.  Or something along those lines.  CON-AIR!

Well if that's true that's actually pretty smart on Disney's part…in a stupid sort of way.

I don't know….my new daughter pretty much has perpetual shitting machine down.

If kids thought they could make ninja-turtles with nuclear waste I would think they'd be all for the idea.

Well, at the very least there will be raping (assuming this sticks to the books plot points).  Lots and lots of raping.  I assume there will even be a rape hotkey ("X" I'm guessing).

She has a face?

I choose both!  Because I'm an adult with a decent income and the freedom to do that sort of thing!

Wow—normally I don't criticize other people's opinions to thier face, but you are so very, very wrong about TDK (I assume that's what you mean by "that Joker movie") that I feel compelled to tell you how very wrong you are.  You are wrong.   You probably do not smell very fresh either.  Now good day.

Is there a reverse inflation index for records?  I mean, you know the way people always compare movie ticket sales in years past to today—since no one really buys records anymore does that 36,000 translate to 4,000,000 pre-internet albums?

Suicides where I lived too (the South, but not the Deep South).

Men—WE LITTER!  TAKE THAT ENVIRONMENT!

I have always assumed those commercials were some kind of weird joke that was meant to be an "in" thing.  I guess I'm wrong?  They make far, far less sense if they're real.

I watched all of season 1 through torrent, and have already paid my money for the Blu-Ray set (and cannot freakin' wait to watch it again).  I will be subscribing for season 2.  I don't know if this proves shit besides good TV is worth paying for, but it's a fact for me.

That clip from Bartleby is something I would have assumed was a joke if I had seen it out of context.  A pretty hilarious (in an absurdist sort of way) joke, making fun of all that is wrong with Hollywood adaptations…

I would argue that Ice is a pretty major character.  Fire is coming into it's own thanks to that red chick, and the undead guy.

I'm one of those people that bought the books after watching the series (and read them all in the space of about two months)—even though I know it's actual name, it's very, very difficult not to call it Game of Thrones.

The actual, live Ewok in the glass case was pretty amazing.
