Is Watership Down really marketed as a YA book? It doesn't seem like one to me - some of the themes are pretty adult, and there are some real political critiques in there that seem to be aimed at an older audience.

Montypark, it's pretty terrible. 
The premise is that Martian men and woman used to raise their children together, but now the Martian moms all have careers and leadership positions, so they are terrible mothers (of course!) and have to resort to kidnapping mothers from earth to raise their children. Oh and the fathers…

There's a lot of praise for Taylor Kitsch's performance in this article. I haven't seen the movie, but if this was good role for him, it's not coming across in these clips. All I'm getting is "this John Carter fellow is apparently incapable of closing his mouth all the way" .
