Holy shit.

That's oddly disturbing, even now.  Why is so much children's programming inspired by drugs??

Wasn't there also one where they all get drunk and become alcoholics and it ends when they drive off a cliff and die?  It was either an anti-drinking PSA or a parody of an anti-drinking PSA, but I wasn't 100% solid on the concept of parody at that age.

Care Bears died for your sins.

Jesus. I though this show was supposed to be all quaint or something? wtf.

I was creeped out by the old animated segment with the kid lost on his bike (http://www.youtube.com/watc….  It's actually really cute in hindsight, but the creepy music and the surrealism were too much for my preschool-aged mind to deal with.

I remember when weirdly out of place sexual assault stuff on TV was way more common, even on comedies and family shows.  Does anyone remember the episode of "Mr.Belvedere" where the daughter almost gets date raped by her boyfriend?  Or was I the only kid who was lame enough to watch "Mr.Belvedere"? At least it was

That would be the first Care bears movie (one of the only movies I saw in theatres as a young child, so it really stuck with me). The green head comes out of a magic book and forces the main kid to do evil things. I think it was a little too dark for the age group they were trying to play to.

Yeah, "Remember Me", that was definitely it, thanks!  Dr.Crusher is the last one left, and she's just running around this completely empty ship…spooky stuff.

What's the TNG episode where people start disappearing and no one can remember they ever existed?  That one scared the shit out of me.

There was one episode of Rescue 911 where a bunch of scuba divers who went cave diving drowned.  It shouldn't have been that scary - because, really, how often do you go cave diving? - but it was.  There was this one underwater re-enactment shot, where the camera is moving slowly through these dark, murky caves and it

So that Little House on the Prairie episode with the mime rape…

Like many of you, I was under the impression that Brandon Fowers was gay.  This video hasn't done anything to change that opinion, but I definitely respect him less now.

Oh for fucks sake.  Please stop turning everything from my childhood into Johnny Depp.

God bless you, Lt.Broccoli.

The music thing definitely has to stop.  Or, at the very least, they should stick to more upbeat, pop/rock type acts - the contrast of lowbrow comedy with painfully earnest acoustic tunes was deadly.  It killed the momentum of the show, and didn't do any favors to Dan Mangen, who may well be a decent act in a

I liked The Magicians quite a lot, but I can't see a TV adaptation getting a single thing about it right.  Clean it up and dumb it down, squash out anything too original, because it might confuse people.  What are you left with?  A boring fantasy story, basically like Harry Potter, but sometimes the characters drink

Agreed.  I've never seen The Cape, but when I saw that photo I thought "Was there a show called Velour Man?"

Agreed, I was pleasantly surprised.  I hate Tim and Eric, but Heidecker on his own was low key and funny. I enjoyed that episode and the keyboard stuff was great.

Well what do you expect with so many people clamoring to get into the glamorous world of Gourd and Squash Sales (GSS for those in the biz)?
