I have a crazy idea - let's stop talking about her looks!
Or, quickly, let's summarize so we don't keep repeating ourselves, here we go!  She's a skinny lady!  She is wearing makeup!  Maybe you want to fuck her, maybe you don't - no one cares!  The baby arm thing is weird!  There, done.
I like her music.  It's weird

Original ideas are awesome.  The problem is when a writer/director/whatever is so far up his/her own ass they can't see that what they're pouring their creative energy into is interesting to nobody but them.  And yes, I've done it myself.  Everybody has.

A lot of great stories, including a huge number of myths and fairy tales, are based around a series of tasks, or a series of objects that have to be aquired.  Criticising that kind of story structure as "a video game movie" seems a seems a bit off to me.

I think it's hard for artists to figure out when their experiences and obsessions aren't universal.  Not that it excuses dreck like this, but, when you think about it, it's surprising that kind of thing doesn't happen more often.

So I guess if this is actually a feminist statement film there should be tons of feminists who are all "fuck yeah, Sucker Punch"?  Sure. I'd be pretty surprised to meet a woman who liked this movie, feminist or not.
