The first two acts of this movie are pretty good and the suspense builds nicely, but the reviewer here is correct. The 3rd act is completely disappointing; a routine re-enactment of a news story most people know about. That said, my 20-year old son DIDN'T know about this infamous news story and, for what it's worth,

Although he rarely performed in big-band settings, I believe "The Thelonious Monk Orchestra At Town Hall" is a terrific place to start with this artist. The large backing band smooths out and warms up some of his music's more angular, stiff, and challenging characteristics, making his tunes much more immediately

Another Nixon satire that seems to have COMPLETELY disappeared is "Another Nice Mess (1972)" starring Rich Little as Nixon. The movie spins Tricky Dick and Spiro Agnew as Laurel and Hardy and even features a bizarre subplot with Hitler.
