Funny, I've thought that before, but again last night. You're forgetting Caroline, though.

I thought this was vintage New Girl— spot on jokes and a nice dose of sweetness.
Satisfying episode, especially for the homages to past episodes.
And speaking of writing Nick…anyone else feel he's sort of channeling a Charlie from Always Sunny vibe at this point? Not meant as a compliment in this context.
As a (former) attorney, I'm fairly certain a pharma rep can't bad mouth a competitor's drug in front of clients without severe negative ramifications. So much for being "straight-shooting."
Liked the homage to Zooey's real-life birth/daughter when the courtroom news scene transitioned to news of the baby otter being born.
But I thought the real payoff was Brendon's novel's love scene where the virgin makes the narrator chose which breast he gets to see.
Agree with this. Guest stars were probably the best part, which isn't a great sign. A few funny lines for sure, but nothing lol for me. At the very least this episode teed up some character growth, which was nicely described in the review. I can see that it's hard to get much going (as Schmidt would say) in these…
Got it, I forgot David Walton/Sam was coming back.
Hmm, not sure about the Dr. character of whom you speak. But to me the show hits most of its emotional highs with the Nick and Jess stories (whether you ship them or not,) and I think it's going to be hard to circle back to that without some outside force (I.e. Fox getting with Nick), but who knows, maybe she won't…
I don't care for her much either, but I'm hoping her arc has some redeeming value moving the other characters forward and/or creating fodder for fresh Nick/Jess stuff, which I in unapologetically miss.
Between Cotton Eyed Joe, Bucky the Badger, and his new love affair with Jess, plausibly not.
