More than ever…
It's apparent that the real problem with 'Heroes' is that they waste the few good actors they have. When was the last time Adrian Pasdar or Jack Coleman got something interesting to do other than pretend to be evil while really working for good? Hell, even Milo Ventimiglia is OK and is stuck doing the

I really disliked Megan's performance - maybe it was because I hate the song she chose, but I felt like it was way over the top and really weirdly affected (especially since I don't remember her singing like that before). When you listen to Amy Winehouse the weird old-timey affectations sound natural, but based on

While I'm not looking forward to 5 nights a week of Leno after I thought he'd be gone for good, I think the whole point of this is to allow NBC to get their ass kicked at 10. Most of their 10PM offerings from this season are gone ('My Own Worst Enemy,' 'Lipstick Jungle,' 'ER' after this season), leaving what -

I definitely agree that there's no reason that this has to be 2 hours long, especially since it's so fucking tedious when people aren't singing. They could have easily had 16 contestants and let 4 people through from each show, but then I guess they wouldn't have the "suspenseful" 1 guy + 1 girl + the next highest

As far as I understand, most of the time they get to pick their songs out of a defined category (currently 'Top 100 Billboard Hits,' which is pretty broad) which is why the contestants often get criticized for song choices even more than their actual singing.

It kind of pained me that Danny pretty much nailed that song, I'm really tired of Archuleta types that want to sing big 'inspirational' songs, and I would have loved to see one get taken down a peg. Honestly I think the extremely broad "Billboard Top 100 Hits" theme was a good idea, if only because people can't pull

Yeah I understood why he did it, but I completely missed the "how" (if it was even shown) and just saw him jumping out of the van with the mask on. It reminded me of the part in 'The Dark Knight' (SPOILER) where you think Gordon is dead but then he shows up and explains that he had to fake his death. It was awesome

What others have said is pretty dead-on here - the idea of creator-owned comics was only beginning to exist in the world of major publishers, and really it took Image starting to change the way companies treated major artists and writers (although a) who'd want to own 99% of Image characters anyway, and b) the people

Sylar
Maybe I just missed this due to an ill-timed bathroom break or something, but how did Sylar go from driving away from the soldiers to infiltrating them and rescuing the annoying kid? At this point Sylar is just too powerful, it's getting kind of ridiculous.

The only reason it struck me as odd was because the press made such a fuss over Ford not buying Super Bowl time (although I saw at least one Ford ad, but it might have been during the 'local station' ad block).

My Notes
1. How in the hell does Ford still have the money to advertise on this? Sponsoring the most popular show on television can't be cheap.

I actually kind of thought he came off like a smug prick in this interview - he's got the "hipster douchebag" attitude down better than most of the people who get labeled with that on here.

Jonathan Coulton
Did he tell all of his fans to come here and leave positive comments? I don't know if I've ever seen a love-in like this on this site.

in my eyes, the key dish of the night was…
I think the key dish of the night was Richard's pork belly, it was the dish he choked the hardest on and if he had pulled it off he'd probably be the winner.

This Episode…
…Was really much better than I expected, given the title and how it was an obviously apparent cop-out from the moment it was revealed.

Glad to see Reaper is back…
Although I'm kind of worried that it might not last for long if it's just a midseason replacement.

Kind of sad I missed this…
I missed just about all of last season due to having to work late on Fridays, but as much as I like to watch it every week Sci-Fi really butchers the hell out of the episodes. Not only do they cut footage, they also seemingly don't know where to put breaks.

I think the "B" is a little high…
This album really didn't do it for me. I know Bragg is 50 now, but this is just too warm and cuddly for me - some of the songs are kind of insulting (the anti-cigarette song - do adults in 2008 really need to hear that message?) and some, like 'Sing Their Souls Back Home,' are too

Priest/Heaven & Hell tour this summer?
I've heard this is happening, and that Motorhead and Testament will be along for the ride. Evidently Testament let a few of the dates/details slip but I guess the official announcement hasn't been made yet.

Looking at the box office chart makes me sad
…Because there are movies that I didn't even realize were still in theaters on there.
