Yes, I agree. I thought the bit about streamlining language for efficiency through texting and the evolution of communication was classic Holmes-ian. He would be exactly the person not to care about proper grammar or spelling, even though most super-smart people would be very anal about it.

I think it shows that Johnny Galecki is actually a pretty good actor, he just has a really crappy, thankless role on this show a lot of the time. I don't think he's Emmy-nomination good, but he's got skills.

Stuart's wry, sardonic sense of humor really is a nice addition to the show. They've had Leonard a little bit, but he's way too earnest about life. Stuart is the guy who steps up to the plate knowing he's going to get a fastball to the nuts and then gets it anyway. But if they really are going to the couple place with

Something that is interesting me in this adaptation is that Sherlock is not presented as necessarily superhuman or emotionally crippled specifically by intelligence here. Unlike British Sherlock, Dr. House, or even Shawn Spencer, he doesn't seem to have had genius thrust upon him (in the last case by his father). He's

I would just start with Season 2. To my mind there's a noticeable increase in quality starting at that point. But I might be biased, since I'm someone who checked out early and didn't come back until the middle of the (in my mind, much-improved) second season.

What up Happy Endings, I am so excited it is back!

He shouldn't come cheap with the quality of emotional moments he's brought to this season.

The fact that Skylar's power gets worse or harder to use the older the technology is both smart and nuanced and a perfect example of why I love this show. There's a brain at work in there, trying to write real things.

This is a scene that stuck with me long after my watching of the West Wing. There are only a few moments like that on any show (though this one has more than its share), but that was definitely one. Just the way Toby looked when Andy said he was sad, in that empty, lonely, perfect house that would never be happy or
