I also miss the more romantically mobile Liars (and I miss Noel Kahn) but I figure if this show can have a girl in true love with someone who legitimately tried to murder her there is no walking back from monogamy.

Dana's gleefully whispered "Ask him if he's seen the Lion King yet!" is one of my favorite lines out of the entire series. I don't know why it slayed me so much, probably just the line read, but damn if it doesn't make me laugh every time I think about it.

Wait is the AVClub really covering this show? That makes me happy! I love it so much, it is so smart and funny and weird and the best summer show for watching and then forgetting (outside of USA) since maybe ever.

I read Jacob's recaps for every show, regardless of whether I watch them or not, but I agree he is very much hitting it out of the park with this one! I just usually like reading Todd's more formal reviews at the same time…

I usually really enjoy your reviews but it's really hard to read someone who I usually find very perspicacious in terms of television take such a shallow reading of a show that, for me, keeps plumbing new emotional and character depths every week. It's not that the show isn't silly sometimes (because it definitely is)

I finished it myself before Sheldon got a chance, it bothered me so much. Now I feel a bit crazy.

By far my favorite tiny moment (besides Clyde) was Sherlock's casual mention and praise of Bell's acting skill. It's things like that that, to me, make the world feel bigger than the show. Bell and Sherlock aren't great friends but they still talk about personal history and things when we can't see them.

I thought it was a nodding wink to the numerous "fight roles" that Lucy Liu has played in the past, but in this role she can't fight at all.

The "violence" in this episode reminded me of old comedy shows, where even the actors are letting the characters be aware that there's no real threat. That's what I like about Psych, that it doesn't always feel the need to have gritty realism punctuated by jokes if that's not what's called for. It's a show that's just

Please put more normal people on this show to be confused by Sherlock and Watson's life - even his sponsor, himself a car thief, was like "what the hell is wrong with you guys?" It never fails to make me laugh and also make me realize how much I as an audience member am compromised from "normal". Obviously Joan had to

This is a great point, but I'd take it a step further and say that it might be the show laying the groundwork for emphasis on Sherlock and Watson's differing paths to detecting. I'm envisioning a later conflict where Sherlock is eventually ready to make her into another him, but she is looking to be a her. Meaning,

Hooray for Psych coverage!

This show is the best and gives me the most smiles per minute of anything I watch, and that includes P&R which I also love. God bless Shawn and Gus.

I was trying to figure out why I enjoyed this episode so completely and I think it's because all of the stories had something real to offer in terms of emotional heft around the jokes (beyond Amy's lab monkey adventures which is a webseries I would watch without question). The conversation that Raj and the girl had in

I was cold on this episode until the montage and capper of everyone running for their cars to get to the parking space and then physically striking each other with vehicles. That escalated very, very quickly to great results!

I'm not a fan of Jess and Nick but at least they are still funny. Call me crazy, but I think we're all getting married tonight!

I am panic moonwalking out of so many meetings at work from now on.

Nick and Jess's storyline was way over the top but at the end of the day if you stopped trying to make sense of people behaving in this way and just enjoyed it as comedy it was insanely enjoyable.

The sneaky good thing about this show is how funny it is. It's really funny!
