"A show of many small pleasures" is a good way to describe it. I said this in another thread, but my and I pop in the DVDs almost anytime we just want to watch something fun and light and relaxing.

I always kind of thought the gag was that she had already been on Freaks & Geeks.

Watching that clip so soon after The Wire season 5, made me realize that David Tennant's American accent is similar in a lot of ways to Aiden Gillen's. Gillen's is smoother - and more convincing - but they both elongate all of the same vowels, and they both have the same nasally sound.
