"Trans" is one of my favorite Neil Young records. No foolin'. It's completely different from everything else he ever did, but it's endlessly interesting and has some really great songs on it.

I actually really like The Rainbow Children, though I'm pretty sure I'm the only one.

I use that quote all the time. One of my favorite MST3K lines.

HipsterDBag - I get that it's more popular there and that it's catering to an area where baseball is more popular. I'm just saying that as a person who doesn't care about those particular teams, it's annoying that it's frequently all I get. It's a major reason I finally just got an MLB.tv subscription this year.

I hate both teams. I hate how baseball coverage always revolves around them. I hate how ESPN seems to not want to show any baseball games that don't involve one team or the other (I think something like 70% of Sunday Night Baseball games last year involved the Yankees, Red Sox, or both). I hate how other relevant

At least the Yankees are playing a relevant team - it's not like the usual "We'll show a Yankees game no matter who they're playing" bullshit they typically do.

He should just change his name to "Fix The Fern Back". It's a good name for an actor.

That's fair. Obsessive fans of anything can be annoying as hell. I try really, really hard to separate any form of media that I enjoy from its fanbase. I used to be a lot worse at getting angry at/writing off stuff because of the fanbase not ever shutting up. It got a lot easier as I got older and stopped caring as

You nailed it, Agent Broyles. Nobody actually likes the show, and people spend their time watching it and discussing even though they don't enjoy the show. It's not even remotely possible that it's, you know, a quality show that people have fun watching. After all, you don't like it; therefore, it's not at all

Maybe they would if there was a Care Bears show that was actually worth watching. If I was told by a huge number of people that there was a new Care Bears show that was actually really good, I would probably at least watch an episode or two of it.

I dig a pony.

It's generally a good idea to ignore fan culture of stuff you like, lest it taint your view of the original thing. I really like Dave Matthews and the Grateful Dead - I don't really identify with the fan cultures that either brings, but it doesn't make the music any less good.

What I don't get is why people have such negative reactions to the idea of people liking it. Nobody really gives it a second thought if someone declares that they like other cartoons like Adventure Time, Spongebob Squarepants, Regular Show, or even stuff like Phineas & Ferb, but for some reason, this show causes an

I would also enjoy regular coverage of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic", but I'm guessing that that's not going to happen. "Regular Show" would also be good.

Add my voice to the chorus of "Regular coverage, please".

I think I'm the only person in the world with this opinion, but here goes: I like Coulton's music, but his lyrics annoy the hell out of me. I'd love "Skullcrusher Mountain" if the lyrics didn't make me feel embarrassed to be listening to it. His really self-conscious nerdy lyrics are a major turn-off for me, even

I, for one, expected better from the scribe behind "All In The Family" and
"K@#Ø%!".

Oh, don't get me wrong - I like "I Love America". I never skip it or anything. I do think it's the weakest song on the record, but that's really more of a compliment towards the rest of the album than an insult to "I Love America". That whole record is great.
