I AM THE GOD OF HELLFIRE, AND I BRING YOU….

"Set List" is one of my favorite articles on the AV Club, without question. They're all great - they even managed to get a great article out of the ICP, which is no easy feat.

Agreed. This was a great interview.

I'd have loved to read that - records like Dragontown and Brutal Planet are incredibly overlooked and definitely worth discussing. Cooper's late period stuff really deserves more attention than it gets - I think that he's aged as gracefully as any rock musician ever.

I know that DaDa was, at least. Not sure about the others.

…interesting turn of events.

DaDa rules. Seriously. I actually think "I Love America" is one of the weakest songs on the record; "Scarlet And Sheba", "Enough's Enough", and especially "Pass The Gun Around" are fantastic, though. That record is way past due for a critical reevaluation.

My friend and I used to quote that line pretty much every day back when I was in high school.

"This is the most public yet of my many humiliations."

Apparently, he's the Executive Producer of "Good Vibes", that incredibly horrible looking show that they advertise incessantly during episodes of Beavis And Butt-head.

I got back into anime pretty hard the last couple of years after several years off. Definitely found a lot of good stuff.

Still haven't seen "Now And Then"…. it's on my list of things to watch (though that list is about 10 deep for anime alone… still need to watch "Last Exile", "The Count of Monte Cristo", "Fullmetal Alchemist", the second season of "Spice And Wolf", "Kanon", and a bunch more stuff first). I love "Azumanga Daioh", but

Another good choice would be FLCL - very short (only 6 half-hour episodes to dig through), fantastic animation, and enough metaphors and stuff left open to interpretation to facilitate a lot of analysis and discussion. Plus, since it aired on Adult Swim, there's a good chance that a bunch of people have seen it and

I need to watch that show… heard nothing but good things. Gah…. too many things I need to watch! Stupid quality television…. why must there be so much of you!

Thinking about the build to the first season finale…. why in the world did Adult Swim show the Christmas episode as the premiere? It's a great episode, but it basically makes no sense if you haven't been watching the whole show to that point; it's paying off a lot of things that had been lingering around for the whole

Something similar happened to me. I caught the first handful of episodes and thought it was OK, but figured that the show basically had one joke and lost interest. I jumped back on much later (a friend insisted that I watch "Nature") and I was so blown away that I immediately went back and watched the whole series. I

I've done the whole third season in one go multiple times (though I always start it with "Nature" - perfect lead in). In my opinion, it's one of the best TV seasons of all time. Who would have ever thought, at the beginning of the first season, that the show could actually be touching (see: "Closeface")?

Seconded. Probably not popular enough to get regular coverage here, but it's fantastic.

That show is awesome, because there are TWO dads, and that's not how things normally are! WACKY!

Like x 1,000,000. New Moral Orel is exactly what the world needs now.
