Of course, the filmmakers decided to actually use the song "Heroin" over it, which made it unintentionally hilarious.

Imagining your room as a prison with animatronic babies on the wall and diving into sewage-encrusted toilets looks like fun? You really didn't understand the point of that film.
If you're referring to DON'T STAND ME DOWN, that album has gotten a huge critical re-appraisal in recent years, so much so that it got a deluxe reissue.
Muse are flagrant musical thieves who will pilfer from anyone-"Starlight" takes the keyboard line from ABC's "Be Near Me".
Nellee Hooper should've just produced the whole album for them.
HOLD ME, THRILL ME… was the last single of theirs that really captivated me. I've been indifferent to U2 ever since.
It has so much going for it-beautiful design, awesome score by Elmer Bernstein, terrific voice cast, etc. All it needs are those 12 minutes that were cut at the insistence of Jeffrey Katzenberg (BTW, a few tiny snippets of them can be seen in the excellent 2011 documentary WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY).
Yep, there was. It was produced by Sierra On-Line, which also gave us the KING'S QUEST and LEISURE SUIT LARRY games.
I'd recommend checking out a good translation of THE MABINOGION, which are the Welsh mythology texts that Alexander used as a jumping-off point for the series.
PRYDAIN is a terrific series, and Alexander was a staggeringly talented writer. i actually do enjoy Disney's BLACK CAULDRON, although I'm still pissed that the original cut of it continues to be denied a release.
I love "Age of Innocence", but MACHINA is just a debacle. Some of the songs might be salvageable if the production wasn't so horrible, though. MACHINA II has some bright spots, particularly the incredible "Cash Car Star".
I can honestly say that I haven't watched any non-TGIF ABC sitcoms since TOWNIES in 1996. I haven't seen a single CBS show since DAVE'S WORLD went off the air, either.
MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN kind of did that

OUR GANG is such an underrated work. Incredibly vitriolic, but very funny simultaneously and written in a vibrant stream-of-consciousness style. Check it out it you haven't already.
I have nothing else to add.
If you enjoy Ned's, you really ought to check out Adorable's brilliant debut album AGAINST PERFECTION and Cranes' 90's work as well (particularly WINGS OF JOY).
Did you really just blithely dismiss an entire occupation?
Yep. He wrote the majority of what ended up on screen but only got a "story by" credit, much like what happened with Malcolm McDowell on O LUCKY MAN!
How the hell could you neglect to mention that Orange Juice's YOU CAN'T HIDE YOUR LOVE FOREVER is being re-released for this year's RSD?
I've been cohabiting with my partner for nearly 8 years, and I have no desire to ever be married. I just wish the U.S. would finally create a federal common law recognition statute for all adults, regardless of their sexual orientation.
