I owned that game. It had very clunky controls, horrible loading problems and it was bundled with the novel DEMONS DON'T DREAM, which was supposed to act as a kind of strategy guide for it. You can see clips of it on Youtube.

DIRTY PLOTTE is by Julie Doucet, not Robert Gregory.
I'm amazed that the reviewer didn't mention BAKERSFIELD, P.D. Easily one of the finest American shows of the 90's, with an incredibly strong cast and brilliant writing. The cable channel TRIO re-aired all of the episodes about 10 years ago for its "Brilliant but Cancelled" block that also included JOHNNY STACCATTO.
He's certainly a more reasonable leader than most of the tyrants the U.S. chooses to support.
Connery's most brilliant performance is clearly in Sidney Lumet's THE OFFENCE (1972), where he plays a police detective who experiences profound cognitive dissonance while investigating a child molestation case. Incredibly haunting work.
So…I take it you've never seen THE SWEETEST THING?
Surprised that nobody's mentioned the "fourth" GORMENGHAST book that was written by Mervyn Peake's widow, stuffed in an attic for decades and subsequently published last year.
Capaldi is very sedate and doesn't curse at all in his first major part in Bill Forsyth's LOCAL HERO (1983).
I still miss Craig Kilborn, and I will never apologize for that.
No. He's always been obnoxious and long-winded about everything.
He makes a fortune from them. They go for upwards of $30,000.
It's their trademark cheap-looking aesthetic.
JE T'AIME, JE T'AIME is brilliant. A time travel story inspired by Marker's LA JETEE and a precursor to PRIMER.
You're correct in that it doesn't. However, ITV's theatrical holdings are distributed by Park Circus, which can provide 35mm prints for repertory screenings of that title worldwide.
"You have to be there to see it."
-tagline for THE ICE PIRATES
"What are you fuckin' waiting for?"-final line of RITA, SUE…
I know that many of Alan Clarke's works are in the process of being prepped for high-def. I can't wait to see a remastered PENDA'S FEN and RITA, SUE & BOB, TOO. I really hope that we'll get some official releases of Dennis Potter's TENDER IS THE NIGHT and BLACKEYES, too.
The animated spin-off was great. He got to be a Knight of the Round Table!
I miss ON THE LOT. It actually featured some pretty talented contestants.
Hey, not all governments use their armed forces as means of promoting imperialism while ruining the lives of their service members vis a vis a culture of rape, violence and conformity and making them broke once they come home. U-S-A! U-S-A!
