Dead on, silkolay.  I have been that Daniel on several occasions; mostly I come to a rolling boil, and then scream back — joining my partner/co-worker in crazytown.  And then I feel bad… Daniel was like the Bitch Whisperer last night.

And now I'm trying to recall who the male contestant was.

"The ICONIC window" of Lord & Taylor made me yell at my tv.  Thank you, Citric, for reminding me I am not alone…

Agreed on the laughter; I thought I'd need my inhaler before it ended.  And my wife kept yelling at the judges, "… because they ONLY HAD ONE DAY, morons!"  That, of course, got me laughing at her…

It was great — except the audience of hipsters in Detroit's Masonic Temple booed every song Blondie played.  Blondie was pretty raw, with a great batch of songs: Rip Her to Shreds, X-Offender, etc.
If I remember correctly, Iggy didn't even announce Bowie!

I've long wondered if Dylan had that in the back of his mind when he wrote Tomorrow is a Long Time - "and if she was lying by me / and I'd lie in my bed once again."

Agreed on Stanley. When Tim warned him about how much work he'd set for himself, Stanley said "I got this.  Time management isn't a problem for me."  He was exactly right.

I said the same thing to the missus!  In fact, I was hoping from that moment on that Michelle would get voted off, but her outfit was not nearly ugly enough.

My high school seniors mostly like this poem when we read it: they're ready to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.  Thanks for posting this.

For a long time I thought the line was "The Byron in short sleeves fucked my wife."  I think I prefer my misheard lyrics…

Long, long ago, in the mix-tape days, I put Lady Rachel and May I on a tape for my future wife.  It worked!

I almost nominated The Modern Dance — Non-Alignment Pact/Modern Dance.

Mott, Mott, Mott, Mott!  So based on your Spooky Tooth pick (!), whose playing did you prefer - Mick?  or Luther/Ariel?

Sorry, Miller, that I could only like it once.  Great 3 punch combo, too, when you add Boogie Stop Shuffle — the perfect theme music for an imaginary detective show!

Here's how we do it… Real Me naturally develops out of I Am the Sea, so they count as one.  Of course, this will cause all the Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding voters to rethink their positions.  Luckily, they can just add Candle in the Wind and not have to change.

Yes to Bucky, and yes to DDB9000.  Great album, great tour.

How did I forget Love? Good one…

Yes, if Ramblin' Rose means you that include JC Crawford's exhortations.  "You must choose, brothers, you must choose!"
Nice screen name!

Loaded was the first one I thought of when I read the prompt.  I love the way the jangly powerpop of Who Loves the Sun signals that this VU album will be different from their earlier masterpieces!
Good call on Curtis Mayfield and Nico, too.

Tribute to Jack Johnson: Right Off/Yesternow.
