@avclub-b438f33d120fae67d78ea4cbe43de909:disqus  I actually have found myself less invested in GoT since I've read all the books. I know the major plot points and mostly enjoy it for the spectacle. The first season of Justified is fairly weak, though, I'll give you that.

The show walks you down into the shallow end of the pool with Ned Stark holding your hand the entire time. Then next thing you know, his head is chopped off, the pool is filled with blood, and you're doggie-paddling in the deep end. But if you're smart, you can get your bearings and make sense of everything.

Just out of curiosity, why do you like Game of Thrones (the tv show) more than Justified? I love them both, I'm just interested in your opinion.

I've never seen Homeland or The Good Wife, but I agree that those other three shows are better than Game of Thrones. I've also read all of the books and have a blast watching the adaptation, but it can just never be the same as a show that was originally conceived for television.

Some people also complain about the "Fly" episode of Breaking Bad, which is one of my favorites from the entire series. You can't please everyone.

I'm hard pressed to think of any other MC who's improved with age like El-Producto has.

I think the grade whining stems from the fact that this is something of a landmark album for a lot of die-hard hip-hop fans. Drake's Take Care and Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy both received higher marks than this here, and generally were better reviewed on other rockist sites than this Killer Mike

This is the site that recently posted the Q&A topic:

I have broadband internet, hulu plus, and netflix. I also purchase shows from Amazon an episode at a time. Usually there are only two shows at a time I'm interested in watching, and they go for about $1.79 an episode, and I just have to wait until the next day to watch the shit.

Alan Silvestri is fine, but my point is that his scores are pretty innocuous and forgettable. Nobody ever hears the theme from Contact and links it to that movie. He's no John Williams, basically. (Also, G.I.Joe and The A-Team? Really?)

Fair enough, I remember the score to Forrest Gump. Not so much the others. (particularly not Captain America)

Watching Hulk just destroy Loki was so much more satisfying than any knock-down, drag-out fight sequence ever could have been.
