I'm going to give Mike the benefit of the doubt and say he gets the "Merica" joke. Nobody really says "Merica" without knowing about the Team America thing. In this case, Shirin might have been the wet blanket. *hides from judge reinhold*

Final Four: Shirin, Halie, Joe, Jenn
(hi guys I know I don't post much here but I want you all to know that I don't endorse my previous statement and I am an ally for all things feminist and lgbtq thank you sorry i love you)
Close your mouth, and open your ears. Then you'll understand. Jeez, what is with these broads?
Rodney is gross. I usually don't think I can judge peoples' intelligence just by their eyes, but you can look at Rodney and know- there is nothing to know.
Yeah, I completely agree that it's easier to predict the winner once it gets down to the final four or five.
It's like predicting a superbowl winner 8 weeks into the season. yeah I guess the patriots got the winner edit after all
Right, yeah, it's not an obvious thing that's telegraphed by the producers. I think they're careful about it. You can tell who is going deep into the game early on but you can't guess the winner unless you're lucky
Fair enough. Anecdotally, I feel like every time people talk about someone getting a "winner's edit" around here, it's wrong though. Except for Cochran.
Sure, yeah. But we haven't even gotten to the merge yet. There is a lot of talk of the "winner's edit" pre-merge, not necessarily by people around here, but on other parts of the Survivor Internet.
I think "the edit" is misleading now. If you go back to last season, most people aren't calling Natalie as a winner based on edit. Or the season before, people are calling Spencer as the winner based on edit.
This is probably just because they all post photos on twitter of them all hanging out and having a blast.
I honestly believe that Shirin, Jenn, Hali, and Joe are going to the final six at least.
really though, who is going to vote with carolyn after this merge? ya'll have dubbed her the "queen of the wet blankets" and I couldn't possibly agree more
I think the NCs are going to take her in with open arms. Jenn was initially annoyed with her, but she fits in better with Hali/Joe/Jenn than probably anyone else in the game.
And $40,000 going to the families of Mike Brown and Eric Garner. What's the harm?
Just curious- what about Jeremy's footage tonight was ignorant? He had a (tenuous) agreement with Rocker, and that was broken. So he lets his tribe-mates know about Rocker's past. It might be a little sensationalic, sure, but I don't see the 'ignorance'.
Somebody had to take the babysitter home, then I noticed she was sitting on / her / sweet can… / so I grabbed / her / sweet can… / Ohhhh, just thinking about / her / can… / I just wish I had / her / sweet, sweet / s/s/sweet can…
Yeah, all of the preview stuff looked to take place before the first challenge? I'm curious to see how off kilter he gets in the like five minutes of airtime before that happens.
I really thought Jaclyn blew it during tribal council when she was talking about the shifting alliances, and she probably would have blown it if John Rocker weren't so arrogant. I thought for sure that Rocker would see the red flags and just play the HII. Josh and Wes handled the damage control from Jaclyn's…
