I left a comment after the season premiere with a little prayer to Shonda not to screw all of this up (as she unfortunately did with Grey's for the middle seasons). Maybe I'm a fangirl, but I'm not willing to jump to the conclusion that this show is a mess. Suspending disbelief is part of enjoying this show, as is

I'm going to allow it.

Could not agree more with this post. I'm glad to see Kerry is having a good year, because she's likeable and I like the show, but she is not the best actress on the show. For me, it's not the KW hour - it's the sum of all of its sometimes melodramatic, unrealistic, extremely entertaining parts.

I think it's important to remember that there's a lot we don't know, and in one, two or five episodes we might all be exclaiming things about surprises and twists, just like the old days.

As Jenna was walking up the sidewalk, I said aloud, "There's still going to be a party," and my husband said, "I thought she was going to bone Colin." It turns out we were both sort of right. Even though I knew it was coming, I still gasped as they stumbled into the foyer.
Tamara shouting out secrets was a highlight,

They can't all be As, and I'd say the B- here is deserved. There's a lot that still needs to be worked out, and one of the things I like about Scandal is that for the most part, I don't care that I don't understand it. That's saying a lot, considering I usually like to everything before it happens (e.g., spoilers).

Agree. She plays FLOTUS so well. It's interesting to see her in "real life" looking younger and less Mellie-like, and also shows just how in character she is.

Duck Phillips!

I agree. And I thought the lovely scene between Amber and Sarah in last week's episode (at Amber's table) resolved the whole "Are you sure you want to do this?" question.

SKITTLES.

Agree. Argue about flaws all you want (see above) but the addition of Joe Morton's character was an excellent decision.

Reading this made me think that Jeannine could come back at any moment now that shes in Mellie's back pocket.

I agree. I guess that's part of it, that despite himself she's his person.

I think it's a good question. The reason I want them to work out (in the end, not next week) is because I think they both are in need of someone who loves them unconditionally. I know they're both flawed, and they've done things that are frustrating, despicable, annoying, horrifying, etc. I guess in my mind, two

Seeing the originals (well, most of them) sadness reminded me of why I fell in love with Glee in the first place. Having not watched regularly for a couple of years, I've watched the first three this year and now have to decide if I will continue. If it was just based on the NYC crew, and included Mercedes, I'd be all

As Olivia was talking to Jeaninne prior to her interview, you could see in KW/Olivia's eyes just how much hiding the truth can cost. For all of the overacting on this show, I felt like that moment was the real Olivia, begging someone else not to make the same mistakes that she did.

I hope you're right! :) I'm just saying that I had this feeling last year like they were setting up the Lemon/Wade thing, and now here they are faking it.

That scene from the first episode where Kristina interacts with her friend who is undergoing chemotherapy made me hope Kristina would pursue nursing, or research, or maybe start a support group. All of those options would present the same global challenges that running for mayor does, while maintaining some semblance

They are fantastic apart and even better together.

I feel like they have been heading toward a real Wade/Lemon romance since their hijinks began last season. It's only a matter of time before the fake romance turns into something more. And that will be right around the time Zoe and her NYC boyfriend part ways, I'm sure.
