I was simply trying to clarify who they were talking about in that scene. They mention him by name. No speculation/spoilers about what it might mean.

I just read about the record ratings (thank you, Netflix). I also just said a silent prayer to Shonda Rhimes: may she not use this momentum to make anyone a ghost, have random friends start hooking up or have Olivia take a walk through the afterlife to realize what's really important.

The look on Olivia's face as their affair was trivialized gutted me. I know she should be a strong woman and recognize she deserves better, but she's sitting in that bunker listening to the dream of her life disappear.

It's Jake (Scott Foley). He'll be a regular this season.

Right. And maybe it doesn't have the same feel as the shows winning awards, but as far as good television is concerned, Scandal is at the top of the list. I have to watch it Thursday, and in many cases I watch live.

I'm still on Team Fitz. I think it was his hope, or grand design as you say, that Sally would become the party's nominee so he wouldn't have to run again. Even when he realizes that his plan has been foiled (for now) I was glad to see him tell Mellie she won the battle but not the war. Poor, stupid Fitz is not my

I'm going to go with a Badger/Skinny Pete call. They had alluded earlier to "Walter sightings;" Walt's backup plan was probably the police showing up.

Looking again at the picture at the top of the review, I'm reminded of Walter talking to himself in the car during the opening. "Just get me home. I'll do the rest." It was almost Walt recognizing there are two versions of himself, and Heisenberg is asking his former self to get him home to finish what he started.

Donna: Thank you for everything. It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Meredith Grey's parents! I wish I would have thought of that. It's Shonda's world, people.

I'm pretty sure we don't know the extent of her dad's mission. Who knows what his original intent was, or what it is now.

Agree, though I thought was left for her by Will Bailey Rosen.

You're so right about Alias. I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of it, especially with the father thing. I don't particularly care, but it's really interesting.

I remember people saying last week that the finale had to find a way to somehow wrap up, and I use that term loosely as it relates to this show, all of the stories that have been bouncing around. I thought last night was a great example of satisfying loyal viewers after 20+ episodes while still opening doors and

Noel!

Just remember, this is Shonda. Meredith and Derek had 6 seasons of angst before real happiness was allowed.

I wouldn't bat an eye, and I would sit on my couch and justify why a dragon in DC makes perfect sense. I'm very curious to see how all of these pawns are related; the finale looks epic. Go Scandal.

"Bowling practice. Gots to go."

Could David Rosen/Will Bailey be the mole? Everyone keeps saying that Joshua Malina isn't getting enough to do; the latest interviews with Shonda make it seem like it could be someone we view as a friend.

Todd, thanks for this!
