I was thinking about the, "Earn me!" scene. She started out strong and powerful, removing her gloves and pointing. But that yell in particular seemed out of place. And this is coming from someone who is kind of in love with KW.

When I think of what Rahm was like as Chief of Staff, I imagine he's probably like Cyrus. Always a little wacky, yelling, unpredictable, willing to shoot his boyfriend if necessary.

I've been trying to comment as much as possible with this same thought in mind. I've been thinking about why comments here aren't as high as at other similar sites (over 100 on two that I checked this morning). Is it that the viewing audience of Scandal doesn't know about AV Club? Doesn't think Scandal is a show they

I don't share your opinion exactly. But, I remember reading something a while back about how Fitz's health problems aren't over. So you might be onto something regarding the bullet that was in his previously.

I actually think they could both go down in an epic showdown.

Will Bailey: "I wonder who he banged?"
OPA Staff: [knowing look] [fast-paced exit]

There was definitely something else going on there.

Thrilled as always to have Scandal back. Thanks for the review. The timing is interesting. I wonder how this episode would be viewed if it had come in the middle of a long run of episodes. It almost would have been an opportunity for everyone to catch their collective breath before the final three of the season (which

And Shonda in particular is obsessed with music. I happen to think the use of it last night was good, in that we haven't heard it in so long it was a nice reminder. But I agree, show me they love each other and it's hard, don't tell me using melodies.

Agree. This episode showed that Huck being who he is isn't just the type of actor Diaz is; he's able to play different types of characters.

Some of the promos make it seem like we might learn more about him soon. But probably Huck first - it's been Huck's season!

Ditto, etc. I used to qualify my enjoyment of this and now I'm trying to convince people to join.

Thanks for this review. Just this morning I was talking to a coworker about how Scandal is unlike anything on television, and even unlike anything Shonda Rhimes has done before. There are more questions than answers, a lot happens every week and you cannot predict many of the twists and turns.

The thing about Scandal is that it is just smart enough to be believable, without being so brainy as to turn people away. My thoughts:
1. Quinn + Huck: will they or won't they?
2. Bellamy Young commented on Twitter about the gift that was her monologue, and she was right. It was fantastic, and so was she.
3. Keep the

I was a very big fan of The West Wing. When I watched this for the first time, I thought it was a poor-man's version of what was a fantastic political dramedy (for lack of a better word). I'm glad I stuck with Scandal, though … it has proved to be quick-witted and entertaining, albeit soapy. And I'm sorry, but the

What about … [long pause] "PIZZA HOUSE?!"

Anyone else notice Amanda Foreman's name in the "guest starring" credits at the beginning? And then she was just pushed out the door at the baby shower? Makes me think there's a scene on the editing room floor that includes Kristina confiding in her about having another child.
