Okay, you and @avclub-e131fa896265671584c9b01cb0ed51cd:disqus just read my 10-year-old mind. I remember seeing some TV show where something was referred to as "priceless," and thinking "Well why would anyone want it then?" I still think about it sometime when I hear the word.

Love this guy, and I didn't even realize it was him in the first season of 24 until years later. He was a great bad guy there, and one of the first victims of a BAUER RAMPAGE (TM)

He was an assassin, and was ordered (or programmed, or whatever) to kill all of the scientists out when the guys in charge decided to wipe out all trace of the various assassin programs.

Yeah, that scene was incredibly disturbing. I had the same thought, as in I couldn't believe it was in a PG-13 summer film. The Bourne franchise has always taken itself pretty seriously (especially after Greengrass took over) but that was a new level. Granted, as pointed out above, I did figure that something was up

Amen. I just sought out this review again for the same reason. It certainly seemed as if Tobias was writing a review of the marketing, rather than the film. Most "Guys Who Like Movies" types that I know hated this film - especially the ending.

Agreed. I just watched it for the second time, and was shocked how much it moved me. Tobias seems like he saw a mash-up of the commercials for the film, which (like "Drive") marketed an action movie rather than a drama.

"That was a musical instrument performance by a man, who I am in no way related to. The end. Ron Swanson."

Seeing what Adele actually looked like for the first time completely threw me. My mind had fashioned an image of a 35-year-old black woman, rather than a 21-year-old British Ann.
