Not this shadowy and dark, particularly the parts with Mrs. Hudson doing dishes in the dark and Molly Hooper dressing in a dark locker room. It may the quality of the video I watched.

The first part of Peter Capaldi's interview on Craig Ferguson's show was taken down from Youtube today due to a "copyright claim" (three years later). That's the part where they talk about dropping acid together.

I remember one of the writers saying that this incarnation of Sherlock Holmes is one of a younger man on his way to becoming a Jeremy Brett-type Sherlock. I hope to see a bit of that transformation process taking place in the upcoming season.

The worst thing for me to think of you is that you think all or most actual women have weak moral codes. I don't think that about you. I don't even think you see a gender binary surrounding the strength of moral codes within the world of Doctor Who. If you do, then please contradict me.

You can't wipe out history. It happened. Time for representation. Looking at race, the rest of the characters aren't exactly representative of the racial make-up of the Britain, either.

You don't know canon like you think you do.

I'm disappointed that Christopher Eccleston has been left out of this whole thread.  For me, Nine was the sexiest of the new Doctors, though the only one of the three that didn't have implied sex.

@avclub-359f449e012b58f30cbc80ea8b9e794a:disqus  So women aren't characterized as having rigid moral codes? They are characterized as having weak moral codes, flexible moral codes, immoral…. what exactly?

You know what's really boring? A bunch of white men represented in TV and film all the time.

Yes, this is only about statistics! That explains how women are more than half the population yet all twelve Doctors (thirteen with Hurt) are all men.

Plus, agricultural majors shouldn't be shitted on unless you don't plan to eat ever.

All out of faith? Is that how you feel?

Mike Mills is great. He isn't the strongest lead, but I really like the reversal of his and Stipe's singing roles on "Near Wild Heaven."

@avclub-362c94df8a8c6b76e42047bc8868847b:disqus Changes happens when women are in power. No one is "accepting" shit.

"Do the least?" "Least likely to do anything about it"?

This is so perfect, both the story and in the telling.

What do you mean by "weird"?

I scrolled and scrolled looking for a comment about this dude's picture. Because he is a dude, the first three pages were relevant to the content rather than his appearance.

I read the article associated with the interview and it was amended to list the roles he had taken where he holds guns.
