Yeah, I should have refreshed the page before I commented.

Never gonna get it
Good interview. I like this band a lot. I saw them in concert this year and it was a great show.

Kaufmen vs Lawler
Letterman had Andy Kaufman on his show back in the day. He knew what Phoenix was up to.

Why would anyone make a show about an Office, Windler? Maybe in other countries they have shows about Offices, but certainly not here. No Office shows, no way.

Guns and badges
No more shows about police, FBI, CIA, NSA, or any other law-enforement alphabet agency.

Stop-motion
I'm just not excited about this. I don't get the big deal about it. I'd rather watch the actors do their sitcom thing, than stop-motion characters.

Gillian
Why won't the universe allow Gillian Anderson to have great roles? She really is a talent.

Reasonable
Oh, look… 208 reasonable discussions full of that "ironic sexism."

Flukeman, Cancerman, Mothmen
Yay, The X-Files is returning! I'm happy to read this. I enjoyed the summer coverage and loathed waiting until next summer for more.

I'm not contrary. Ken Jeong licked, humped and chewed all the scenery (and a couple of the actors) in the first few scenes to cringeworty levels. For the most part, the writers were able to turn it around and reign him in as the series progressed.

Ronnie. That's his name.

This episode was a mess
What was the rash Jessica had and why was she hiding it from her mom? What was the medication she asked for? All I got from that whole story line was that she went to a dermatologist the last time she had the rash, and I assume that is how she met what's-his-name, while she was still with Ray.

It's kind of odd that late seasons borrowed that "this is not happening" for a frantic Scully and the not very good Mulder-is-missing episode title. The differences in contexts is extreme.

El Tigre Chino
This is going to be a comment generator.

@FidelAstro Pretty much everything listed has been replaced by something sort of like it (i.e. your example of answering machine and voice mail). *69? Caller ID. I.M.s? Facebook/texting. Beepers? Very much like texting. Mix tape? Playlist. Email? Uh, email.

I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it.

Sorry I'm not home right now…
Recently, I heard No Doubt's "Spiders Webs" for the first time in years. It made me try to remember the last time I had an actual answering machine. I think it was 2004 and even that was getting late to have one.

If coincidences are just coincidences, why do they feel so contrived?

Die Hand Die Verletzt
Scott Gordon, I have the exact anxieties, though mine stem from my babysitter telling me the plot from a film about hell that I don't remember the name of. Even now, I occasionally have night terrors about demons in my bedroom.
