It's not like we learned anything new, but I loved hearing Gary's excitement about how completely irritating that would be, had it worked. Creative dickery is an art.

To play devil's advocate, I really love watching people play devil's advocate, and this episode perfectly laid out why, with a large chunk of it in the reveal of just how this whole business started with the Action Man's crazy ass.

I'm with you there - he was willing to baldly deny the paranormal for the entire first season to discourage them from messing around with it. Totally makes sense, combined with the brother thing, that he'd be pretty pissed and unwilling to do much.

Damn. I gorged on this show within the span of last week, and with all knowledge of its fanbase, it's still super duper underrated. Grunkle Stan and Bill are particularly fantastic characters - though the latter seems especially unforgettable.

It's really surprising, frankly. Like, it doesn't seem like an acquired taste, and it likely wouldn't be one straight/cis folks would be super into. That isn't to say I imagine they'd hate it, more like there's not really anything to grab at them - the whole over-the-top nature is not something I think you can really

Wait, hold on a second - how much of Rusty's "lab stuff" got blown up? They talk about him being robbed like they've ransacked the place, but he's got an entire company's lab. Did he just lose some stuff, or is this another major setback?

Best episode of the season. For once, I don't have to qualify the compliments with any nit-picks about pacing - this finally felt like we got to relax a bit instead of just rushing wildly to the next bit of plot.

Man, about time for that musical. I'd been wanting it since Season One, but craving it since that musical number from that episode with Dr. Screwball. The voice of Dominator is a great singer.

Great episode as usual. I hate being so one-note, but I think this season really suffers from its short length - there's just so much to unpack. We're not too far from the end of the season now! Like 5, I'm sure it'll just make it all the better for repeat viewings, but watching these for the first time feels a little

Hiatus? I wish I had your dickfaced optimism.

So here's a thought: if the Monarch quit the Guild and official supervillain-y, would they be less likely to try and kill him, presuming he manages to off anyone?

Yeah, i have to say, "I know you're transgender, but I have a criticism" is way more insulting than "I have a criticism." If you want to help, volunteer somewhere.

I thought he was going to start freaking out about Vendata again.

I wouldn't call it dumb! In fact, the best argument against it might be that they're teasing us so overtly. It certainly seems like this is what they want us to suspect.

I'm starting to think this might be better if viewed as an 8 hour movie split into chunks. We get so little time that it feels like someone like Orpheus is being completely forgotten - there's so little opportunity and it's what you have to go on as an entire season.

It's really hard to tell if that was some indication of Dean still having some weird superhuman quality, or if it's his childish fondness for animals.

He didn't use the whole thing!

Fucking fantastic episode! Sure it's halfway through the season, but it's awesome to finally crack down to parts we've been waiting for - it feels like we're in the story proper instead of just the lead-up.

I'm not proud of admitting it, but the amount of time we got free episodes officially has me so entitled that part of me is genuinely still annoyed they'd have the gall to make me have to watch it for free on some other, less legal site.

I geniunely believe this bullshit is what's driving the Trump campaign. He strikes me as pretty much just some dog pissing all over the room to assert dominance, and that's the attitude people are gobbling up.
