I remember back when I was a kid and struggling with dial-up, finding scripts online was my alternative to getting to sneak the show at a friend's house. I guess it was transcripted or something. There are a few episodes like The Red Badge of Gayness I'm still not sure if I watched or read.

I think this here is the tipping point, unfortunately, between "this would be even better if it were an hour" to "this is suffering with only a half hour to work with." I kinda wish they did 4 hour long episodes instead - this episode really doesn't feel like it'd survive as a standalone. There's so much to develop,

Who's responsible for the latest and second-to-latest run? The only name I recognized was Brian Poeshn for obvious reasons, but that run seemed to really nail down what was interesting about the character, and making him a (spoilers, i guess) husband/father was kind of a so-clever-this-should-have-been-obvious move.

As long as it doesn't involve genetic engineering, I suppose.

That'd be wonderful, what are you talking about?

Can someone explain to me why nobody's questioned the fact that these are all being attributed to the Super Bowl, when it's set so close to Valentine's Day?

My heart goes out to you. Doing direct advertising shit is just a smaller part of my job in graphic and web design, and it's a fucking miserable experience. My first job in the field required me to post on Twitter, which manages to be even worse than Facebook somehow.

Next year, can we have a side panel about how bizarre it seems to have a column about Superbowl commercials?

What the hell is your job?

Oh no, I totally follow! It's such a horrible involuntary impulse that's so fucked up to think about. There aren't many shows that wouldn't rather pretend only evil monsters could have those issues.

It's kind of a far reach, but I've got the distinct impression that the OSI (or more specifically, Hunter) is trying to get Hatred to defect. I mean, considering his past with Gathers, it both seems doubtful he'd be trusted, and that he was being placed in a position to replay the past. Then again, I thought Brock

I don't see why it can't be both. Seeing the inevitable "here's the secret show you SHOULD be watching" magazine articles that accompany each season premiere is like seeing the holiday decorations go up.

I'm happy people seem to be more into St. Cloud. For a show that's increasingly fond of nerds and oddballs, he seems like a mandatory counterpoint. St. Cloud's the shitty, completely intolerable brand of self-important nerd that's too fun to hate. It's what gamergates are made of.

I think he's an okay scientist, but a remarkably shitty super scientist. His personality seems to be sabotaging him more than anything, though I doubt he'd able to go as far as making things like space stations. If he made like JJ and started out with gadgets like smartphones, he'd be okay.

He won me over back when he was commenting on how lush the Venture lawn was. Whenever that was. I'm not totally into the pedophilia aspect that I guess they're stuck with - it's like the few Ned being retarded jokes - they're real life things but still seem kinda shock-y for the show. But he's lovable.

Last time he did something like this was after bonding with Gary, so I guess goofy murder is his version of palling around.

Post-Season 2 Venture Brothers is in a weird class of its own - it's easily my favorite show, but I hate even inviting the comparison. The creators and unusual production kind of make it a special sort of beast.

It seems very Brock to take issue with that as he hands over Peepin' Tom Binoculars

Man, it's good to be back. I'm already wondering if they're going to renew for season 7.
