true, isn't tilapia a really cheap fish? I think Gia said more than she intended with that 'joke'.

GAWD yes. When they first showed her I blurted out "Jesus, did she get those things inflated even more??"

Yes, I liked it too. I don't actually like how the first episode is just a blur of contestants and by the time the runway show's ever, I don't even remember what ANYONE was wearing. And I agree with Three Dancing Matthews below that hello, that's an extra episode! An extra little bit of Drag Race is always good!

Yes to all of that. A rollercoaster of emotions trying to decide if I like Adore. One thing I don't like is her mouth hanging open whenever she's not talking.

omg yes, once I read up top that Laganja is Alyssa's drag daughter it all made sense and I thought "how the HELL did I not see that??"

Ugh, yes, I also groaned at Michelle Visage's comment. We get it, you hated Jinkx. and Sharon. and anyone who dares to have a personality instead of looking like your own personal vision of "pretty, empty-headed drag queen."

oh my god. I never noticed he sounds like her but YES, that is spot on.

me neither. NEVER.

Javier Fernandez's "Aerobics Class" skate at the gala was hilarious and fun and I can't believe NBC didn't show it. It's worth looking for online. I think my favorite exhibition skate is still Philippe Candalero (sp?) skating to the Rocky theme and "Living In America".

Ditto, this was going to be my first time seeing Weir/Lipinski commentating after hearing so much about it the last 2 weeks. And then, there were only 4 routines and they barely said a word! I was so pissed, I turned over to CBC and caught a few more routines (since they showed the gala in its entirety, I believe).

man, I really hope they get primetime in 2018 because Scott Hamilton et all pretty much just sucked. they hardly say anything, what they do say is cryptic, and they quite often get so caught up watching that they trail off and don't finish their sentences. irritating. like when they say someone is "a classic skater

I agree (except for the part about Carol creating Lizzie, I agree with what Ace of May and Spork and Beans said below) and I assumed this was the direction the show was going and that yes, we're supposed to be picking up on the sociopath vibe of Lizzie's but in reading the reviews here, I see not everyone has been

High society, here we come! ya dada da da, da ya dada da da ….I can't tell you how often my roommate and I sing that non-song.

when you think about it, it would still be a pretty sweet party

How dare you insult that big-chinned everyman and his various African-American band leaders?!

True, I didn't actually get spoiled from that comment, but it was close enough that I thought "whoa, better not read any further" or else I could end up spoiled. like fruit. or something. there's gotta be a better way to say that.

Ditto. I have tried very hard to stay spoiler-free and watch the episodes as they air and I think I'll have to avoid the comments section here to remain so. Bummer.

I saw these guys open for Modest Mouse several years ago and theirs is the set I remember, not Modest Mouse's (they had terrible audio issues, we left before they were finished). Man Man may just be the most entertaining band I've ever seen, I highly recommend seeing them even if you've never heard any of their music

is it just me or did Andy and Ollie look like they were drawn much older in this episode? or even just drawn much larger? they're usually Louise's size (and age, I thought) but in their scene they looked enormous and I wondered if it was on purpose or not.

well, perhaps "love" was too strong, but there are a lot of "likes" in the comments. there are favourable comments from Black Stallion, Fabian, Libidinous Kettle, Old Nanster, Daeism, Lupinus Addams just to name a few. I agreed more with the pre-airing review by Erik Adams.
