Really? You just blew my mind. So, they actually didn't need to have Dubya surrogate to pander to Red State Merca? Then what the hell where they thinking?
(The attack on Florida - and Trip mentioning that he had family there - was post 911, right?)

…with the help of Uncle Junior's fat sidekick…

I liked how Archer really leaned on the button when he spoke into a wall communicator.

I enjoyed the show but the post-911 analogues (Sulidan/Taliban, Trip/Dubya) really jarred - and odd that one of the most socially-liberal franchises went so politically-conservative.

no snark for the U2-esque song on the trailer? I'm a little disappointed, AVClub…

That cover is truly horrible - barely competent. Despite what you think of the movie, the cover is a huge missed opportunity.

as I said above, I don't think Stan was.

yeah, I know Kirby was, but I thought Stan was too young to be enlisted. Always thought that was one of the defining differences between them: Kirby was on the beach at Normandy and had seen things that Stan hadn't.

Stan Lee was a WWII vet?

Mischa Barton: meh
70's Show Donna: bed, farting, kicking out of scenario - she's safe
Olivia Wilde: alrightalrightalright. (As "Cherie Blair" in Ghostwriter - awyeah.)

Didn't he have blue eyes, though?
Anyway - the Spectrum logo, the Angel planes, the tank, Captain Scarlets car: great Anderson designs or greatest Anderson designs?

colour coding the text seems like a gimmick that would get old really fast…

wasn't Cary Grant the face of Captain Scarlet ?

but but but… then Captain America would have been a Hydra operative! noooooo….

(Krusty's Accountant): "Krusty as your accountant, I must warn you…"
(Krusty the Clown): "Did you send those thousand roses to Bea Arthur's grave?"
(Krusty's Accountant): "Yes, but as I told you, she's still…"
(Krusty): "I don't want to hear the end of any sentences!"

my giant freak head…

…and Jerry's "of course" shrug.

I'll be right back…

Constant Gardner is fantastic. Highly recommended.

The man was fearless.
