I think it goes right back to the last episode of the last season: Don picked the wrong woman to marry. He chose the fantasy (Megan - young, unwritten) over the reality (Dr. Faye - same age as Don, and she understands him). And now it's catching up with him, don't you think?

Saw a few minutes of Aliens on tv recently - the scene where they wake out of cryo-sleep. Noticed that Lance had his shirt off and was looking pretty ripped. I was surprised, considering how old he was in that movie.
