man Im actually more interested in him writing for the TV show at this point.

Isn't the whole bribe scene reused from Homer's Odyssey? Weird.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. Especially Punic wars, Wrath of the Khans. (It's a podcast.)

Its bad…. I wanted to like it but its really bad….

This is amazing. Thanks.

Yeah man right on. Was that a conscious decision by Sega? It is part of what attracted me to the Genesis. Even Sonic is like twice the height of Mario.

I love that is has become like an iconic thing. Its a brilliant design from one guy but it has become as universal as Frankenstein. Which was also a brilliant idea from one guy. (OK girl.)

Eh. I thought it was a B at best.

Dumb. This is the problem, is the editor egging him on. They are trying to milk out the cash cow as long as possible. He needed a real editor for books 4 and 5.

Man I love Bob's Burgers but these last two really fell flat for me. Even Linda seemed shrill. Too many characters yelling instead of funny dialogue, especially Felix Fishoder. The overly dark tone made it seem more shrill too, I guess.

Stan The Man

haha yeah man. I avoided it…. If you are into comics at all Grant Morrison's All Star Superman series is mind blowing, joyous, very comic-booky, smart and yes, fun. Its great stuff makes me feel like a kid again.

Even George RR has said….. because its magic…… the 'why' of it is really irrelevant to the drama of the story

DIdnt Louie basically coin the whole White People Problem thing? He has used it in his standup.

Yeahhh. My tiny nothing band played a show at Fontanas and then that night we happened to watch that episode where they go to Fontanas… kind of surreal…. I don't know I was impressed they filmed in the bar for real.

Guy is a hack. If he doesn't like comic books why doesn't he just move on? You know why Martian Manhunter has a goofy name and is a homicide detective? Because its fun.

I love when the camera framed both of them, and they seemed to be addressing the audience almost directly. Or as if they were looking at themselves on TV in a mirror.

Man I don't know. Does he have the chops for this? He seems awkward on his Daily Show appearances. John Oliver would have been a better fit.

Drew Carey is going to regret this when Craig Ferguson completely runs circles around him on his own show….

I'm rewatching tng now, and while some parts are reallly campy or the production values are downright hunorous, in many ways it is still the smartest thing to make it to television… when you hit that one great episode that is like one in 30…. it blows your mind.
