I had an unreasonable love for the sneaker phone commercial. I would quote that dorky guy, 'it's a sneaker phone!' in his weird high voice. I actually looked on eBay for one a while back… not too many of them floating around.

I don't know if it's actively hated, so much as ignored/unknown, at this point. Even the guys who were in it rolls their eyes when it comes up, and say 'never again!'
Thinking back, I really loved it when I smoke a LOT of pot. I need to rewatch it and see how it holds up on my new drug of choice, Benedryl.

It reminds me of the Kids in the Hall movie, a little bit, in that people seem to HATE IT and pretend it doesn't exist, but it's actually pretty funny. Perfect? No way. But there are many, many worse movies out there. You can't even get Brain Candy from Netflix, they literally don't have the disc. But I know a ton of

I don't really remember that coming up that much… not as much as the 'serial killer is a real jerk' joke, which did start to fray a little bit, admittedly. I'll have to listen through some again.

Fair point… I've never seen that Zohan movie. I had to see Grown Ups for work when I did movie reviews, and it was not great. I guess I hope he'll pull it together one of these days… maybe one or two out of the six will be okay, who know?

I think Norm was just doing it to kill time, but I really liked his 'podcast,' which you could watch in talk-show format on YouTube and elsewhere. You get to see through his 'dumb guy' schtick, to a certain extent. He's actually very knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to comedy history and theory. In a funny

Not sure why, but I still have a soft spot for Sandler, even after Grown Ups. I love Norm MacDonald and a lot of this cast no matter what… This definitely will NOT be art, but it looks like it could be funny in a deliberately stoopid kind of way?

They're really different books, but I can see that. Or at least I can see how Catcher needs to be replaced…

Wildcat… pchew, pchew…

I was really impressed with that book. Mitchell presents a convincing portrait of someone who organically changes over a period of time. Now that I think about it, Holden doesn't really change much from the beginning to the end, does he? It's been a long time since I've read Catcher, but it was, like, my

Wish I could give you two upvotes… thanks for the laugh.

I hate Boing Boing. I got so tired of their self-promoting bullshit, the humble bragging, and the whole 'hipster-geek' vibe. Xeni seemed okay, but those dudes… make me feel punchy.

Me too! I actually broke it out just last week after a long time and played it with the kids.

There's a couple of okay things here, but I'm really getting to the point where I like Hulu better. They have pretty much the same stuff, but new shows during the show season. I hate watching network TV on the network, because I don't like having to watch at a particular time. Hulu, for me, is kind of like Tevo

Logged in just to say you win… I'm definitely seeing this movie now.

17.817 is used to calculate fret distance on stringed instruments… WHO'S DUMB NOW YOU SCOTS S.O.B.!?!

I've known several people in my age bracket who have anxiety over how to spell the word 'potato'. Even in its plural form, they refuse to put the 'e' at the end, so as to avoid the possible embarrassment.

I thought insects were the beef of the future… plump, delicious insects.

Sorry, saw that in the list and had to laugh… I haven't seen the show, and for some reason it sounds like the laziest premise for a show ever.

WTF is Monkey Thieves LOL
