Why does Rachel flatten out at the same time as Monica and Chandler? I only watched sporadically or not at all toward the end, so I don't remember, but she didn't get married or anything did she? Or join a convent?

You touched my sexy chicken daughter, by God you're going to MARRY my sexy chicken daughter!
Yeah, but it was a bittersweet day, the day I left Mos Eisley… if I could only blast one more womp rat in my T-16… *stares wistfully out the window*
I usually went a normal speed, but it just felt like I was driving a landspeeder. I kind of miss that.
I think the PC term is 'mush-head,' sir.
I forgot all about Dondi… even when I was a kid who would read anything remotely resembling a comic, I never read Dondi. I didn't know they made a movie out of it. Can't wait to never see it and forget all about it.
How about the security guard at the building, and maybe one of the warehouse workers who's never had a line? They could leave Dunder Mifflin to start a detective agency… their first client can be Jan.
You should see The Man With the Red Shoes. I never really listened to the radio show, and so didn't know much about it. But the movie is a documentary about Keillor that treats him like this HOLY GENIUS while he's getting the show together. It's absolutely infuriating, and will tell you everything you need to know…
I think age is key with the Narnia books… I was 9-10 when I read them, when I was just old enough to stick with that much story long-term, and just young enough for any subtext to be totally over my head. Around the time I got to the last one, I was like, 'hey, wait a minute, is this about…?' It didn't ruin it for me…
@Tim Lieder - I think 'honky' is a derivative of 'hunky,' which I believe was a derogatory term for Hungarians. For some reason I remember Andy Warhol's brother talking about that in whatever Warhol documentary I'm thinking of… might be the American Masters one?

Also, the vast majority of 'foreign' oil is imported to the U.S. from Canada, often by Canadian divisions of U.S. companies. The implication that we're beholden to evil sheikhs for our high-test is xenophobic nonsense pushed by politicians, of all stripes, during stump speeches and other insubstantial addresses.

I wanted to gripe about that ad a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't muster the energy. There's something about that young woman's face I find irritating… it's that whole 'sassy blues singer' thing, and just looking at her you know exactly how she's going to sound, all raspy and 'soulful.' GODDAMMIT THE BLUES DIED WITH…
