Unfortunately, Marvel no longer has the rights to the character of Fu Manchu. And what's a hero without his arch nemesis? I loved Shang-Chi back in the day.

Here's something no one knows about me: the novelization came out some weeks before the movie, and I had read it before release. Even as a 12-year-old, I knew not to spoil the minor surprise and major twist reveal to my friends. But I did have a different mental image of both the voice and appearance of Yoda going…
Kevin J. Anderson and Michael A. Stackpole kind of ruled.
Also, he's not just a local villain, as he apparently rides across the nation. But what does a horse ride, huh? WHAT DOES A HORSE RIDE?
The Mandalorian Armor sucked donkey balls. All I remember is being reminded on page after page how Fett was a legendary badass, and no plot to speak of.
If your main objective with a comic is to finish it, then you're right, it really doesn't take that long. But if you believe, as many do, that cartooning is an art form, you'll probably take a little more time with it, to see the flow of panels, to check out background details, to appreciate the work of both the…
But they make good coffee.
Delta—We never make the same mistake three times.

Kinda like Doctor Who. Your first Doctor is always the best one.

All glory to MrVandelay!
Enjoyed the show back in '83, what I could hear of it at least. Reunion Arena was filled with 15000 screaming girls in polka-dotted miniskirts, so the sound had a hard time cutting through that. It did introduce their opening band which I had never heard; Wall of Voodoo made me decide never to miss a warmup band ever…
I got a Bunheads notification for this?
I'm with Emma; I couldn't make it through Chessmen of Mars either. After Thuvia, there hardly seemed any point in going further. Although a good game of Jet seems fairly appealing from time to time.
Man, I wish John Carter hadn't bombed.
He's a threat because he can shut down the legit part of the Onyx, i.e. the entertainment. Without musicians and dancers, that's a big damn restaurant to fill. Not profitable except for the booze markup.
The Baseball Furies are recruiting I hear.
He'll always be Sidney Bechet from Young Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues to me. He taught Indy how to play the soprano sax!
Check out Family Weekend.
Check out this year's Family Weekend. I enjoyed the shit out of it. Modine's not the lead, but he doesn't detract in any way.
