I love you Bootsy

Grant's book is way too self-congratulatory. And this film isn't anything like as bad as the common consensus would have you believe.

Luckily, I like teenagers swearing, so that voicemail was right up my alley.

I would be in that cinema on opening day for the NextWave movie too. Damn, do I love that comic.

It's getting to the point where if they're setting it in the present day having a middle-aged-to-elderly man come from the concentration camps is looking a little odd.

I like the grunge Dazzler from the Ultimate Universe. She was purdy.

They both suck equally as bad, but Singer has the better track record. Please be good!

I love The Usual Suspects, should my position on the debate be of interest to anyone. Clever, funny, not all the characters are assholes…certainly as good as anything but the very best Coens movies.

The Ang Lee Hulk was awesome, at least as interesting in a different way as the Norton version. And I think the first film ended in roughly the same geographical location as the second one started, so it could be seen as a sequel (although it's not really important to anyone other than us fanboys).

Dumbledore, the guy who came up with that idea was Ron Shuster, the co-creator of the story. I only know this because I've just finished watching the special features you mentioned.

I also love Lifeforce, because it starred a hot naked woman. Not background stuff, but front and centre. My teenage self thanks O'Bannon with all his…heart.

I adore Dark Star (among other O'Bannon work) and am sorry to hear of his death. I still also sing this song to myself quite a bit: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

$300 makes a good story, already-very-well-connected guy using mega-powered computers and effects for free: not so much.

This news has been knocking around for ages. Didn't the last two names to be signed thanks to things like this lose a ton of money?

A brilliant writeup Leonard. I just feel glad I don't have to dislike you, what with you being a Chicagoan baseball fan and me being a fan of the Cardinals. Now, if you'd said you loved the Cubs I'd be wishing all sorts of hateful shit on your head right about now.

I bet you $20 you don't.

Eh, I think it's a case of absence making the heart grow fonder and all that. Zero Effect thought it was much more profound than it was.

Anchorman is a better comedy, and it's from about the same time (I can't be bothered to check). But Bad Santa is indeed an awesomely funny film.

Completely agree. The review misses the point slightly, that it's the best adaptation of that video game aesthetic ever. The perfect action movie.

Or maybe we don't defend every single thing with a political stance similar to ours? Yawn.
