Better than him trying to bring Monk back, I guess.

How does someone become an MTV executive without knowing who Cliff Huxtable is?
It was probably just a matter of riding high off the favorable reunion tour and having started to fully inhabit some of the old songs again and wanting to continue to draw from that catalog. It sucks that Rick McCollum isn't on this record or playing with them anymore, especially since he was one of their connections…
I must just be a blind Greg Dulli devotee, because I loved this album basically immediately. I think my favorite of his albums are Gutter Twins Saturnalia and Twilight Singers Dynamite Steps, and this fits nicely alongside those.
Never before have I done such a quick 180 on a piece, but wow, everything after that third question.
Prepare your brain for razzle dazzle!
In addition to The State, Stella (shorts + series), Childrens Hospital, and Wet Hot American Summer are some of the funniest things I have ever seen. You can go fuck yourself if you're on avclub.com and don't root for people like Ken Marino or Joe Lo Truglio.
Nice, the old "Asian investors" plot device. Glad to see that old chestnut dusted off and put to some good use.
Reno 911! is the only actual Lennon/Garant credit in your second description.
Mac Miller is thrilled to have even been mentioned, I am sure.
The first time I heard this song was in an awesome dive bar in El Paso. There was a live band of four kids playing rock songs in Spanish and I hadn't heard this "Firework" song before, but the way they played it, it just had this urgency to the arrangement and this hopefulness as it intensified before it hit the…
The GnR greatest hits is called Appetite for Destruction.
lol @ “it comes nowhere close in quality to anything on” Energy, way to act like a bunch of ingrates "Consequence of Sound"
Hope we get a video for this one! Chalangalanga lang!
I may only have been only 11 years old at the time, but even I knew that watching "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride" would have been a disappointment.
Nick Burns: Your Company's Computer Guy
I know this is just how he is or whatever and probably got caught in a wave of passion during an oral tirade on a podcast but c'mon. This isn't how someone who wants to continue to be employed conducts themselves, particularly when they have the good fortune to get to do exactly what they want with their life. I think…
Saw them perform with Blood Ceremony and Kylesa last week. Felt a little dumb buying a copy of Blood Ceremony's "Living With the Ancients" from Ms. Superior after White Hills had just got offstage. Not sure whether it's a faux pas to buy another band's album from a member of a band you just saw perform.
Midnite Vultures to me feels too much like a joke that nobody else is in on. There are some cool songs but at least half of it was really obnoxious. If someone put this on at a party, I would be like why not put on the real deal instead of some white boy's wry facsimile. Really like "Beautiful Way" though.
This man is my favorite musician. He has my favorite discography in rock and roll.
