Looks like I'm the only one in the world excited for You're Next. Doesn't look like a crowning artistic achievement but def. looks like something genre movie fans would enjoy.

I was only 9 years old when this episode aired, but I very vividly remember that when the episode was finished my dad's was reaction was along the lines of http://www.youtube.com/watc….
Yeah I dunno I just really loved the use of that Lou Reed song. Never thought I'd ever disassociate it from Ewan McGregor overdosing in Trainspotting.
Disappointed that there was no coverage of "Your Next", which has one of the best trailers I can ever remember seeing. http://www.youtube.com/watc…
This song still has more pathos than the entirety of Tillman's discography. He'll go to his grave recording Har Mar Superstar albums for 6-pack money and rolling with the same "Naked Jay Sherman" live show shtick that was already old and embarrassing over a decade ago.
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the flops?!?!
Will Carrel better come back or its all for naught or whatever. "I love lamp" haha
I should give Nine Types of Light a listen. I liked Desperate Youth and Cookie Mountain well enough but Dear Science was truly impressive. Closing tracks on a rock album don't come much better than "Lovers Day"
The opening track is titled "Entertainment" as a reminder that you could be listening to Gang of Four.
A lot of people on the Internet seem to regard the original film as a comedy, which makes me wonder if they actually saw it. I watched it at a couple months ago and it remains a great straightlaced horror flick. I also loved Army of Darkness at age 16 but watched it a couple years back and thought it was pretty bad…
20 years later and now we know why they call him Mr. Bitterness.
Newly-recorded Yoda guest verse on "Down to This".
Yeah I'm just catching up with his online presence in recent years and the fact that he apparently put out a memoir. I haven't really listened to him much since the early aughts but his Smofe + Smang live album from 2002 is a joy and really captures him in a very nice light (ending with a heartwarming audience…
Wow, I had no idea people regarded this guy with such contempt. His Haughty Melodic album had a few gems on it but none of the other albums were as good as Soul Coughing. He always seemed really affable, though, and runs in comedian circles. Maybe I've got the wrong idea about him?
If you like Chris Brown, check out Austrian Pop Sensation Kristof Braun! He's not very good, but he murdered a girl in the 90's.
What a surprise that this "creative team" would pitch a show that lacks any female characters. That must be a huge weight off their shoulders. That must keep the atmosphere in the writers room akin to that of a freshman dormitory. Boy am I real glad that these guys can see a paycheck without exerting themselves.
The character of Machete was first introduced in the Spy Kids films. Somewhere there's a kid who saw Spy Kids at a young age who is just now old enough to watch Machete. The serpent eats its tail, etc.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik… the character archetype has been around forever but if you have a problem with the man's face there's probably no hope. Best of luck in your continued appreciation of white comedic actors.
This was a really thoughtful interview that still managed some hilarious turns of phrase. This guy has proven adept at riffing on quotidian banalities and it's interesting to see him aspire to more ambitious subjects. Also crazy to see someone so competent in both acting/sketch and standup.
damn dude sorry about being a prick on the Internet
