"It's all meaningless.  What are we fighting to save?  There's nothing good left.  I have no hope."
Hey, welcome to the world of an adult in a time when all the big mainstream movies involve grown men running around in capes.

My favorite Dylan song.

That's pretty effective attention-grabbing when the other woman has a scene where she goes down on a guy while holding a gun to his chin, or somewhereabouts. (It's been a while since I've seen it.)

Well, looks like we've heard from the production team of Class.

Virginia Madsen. Michael Madsen. How the hell did I not notice that before?

Too soon!

I don't even own a David Spade.

Well…again, I guess I'd have to see the movie to know whether that's damning or an overreaction. To take as a premise, "What if the Salem witches really WERE witches" for a horror movie doesn't seem inherently sleazy or right-wing or whatever. And it would probably be fair to point out that O'Hehir's review, now that

If they're "paranormal investigators," it seems inherent that they're an opportunistic con team.

Really, The Exorcist? Saw that as a kid, and even then, the most troublesome thing for me was the parts where she was being tested in the hospital. That was more intense than the "scary" parts. But we all have our pressure points, I guess.

Have you seen the movie? Do you know that's a bullshit take? Not trying to be snotty, actually asking. Though I guess if you haven't seen the movie, I'm being a little snotty.

But isn't the idea of advertising to sell stuff? If that's a more effective way of doing it, they'll do it. Not sure it's the realm to insist on editorial standards.

I didn't find it boring, thought it maintained the dread pretty well. But as usually happens with that kind of thing, once stuff started being "revealed," it became less scary and more chase-y. The graveyard thing was pretty good.

Can he be here by 1 pm?

This is a bold claim about a review that contains the sentence:
"Garlin makes for a sturdy rhythm section, pounding out a steady beat to
facilitate the accomplished solos of performers like comedian Natasha
Leggero."

It's like he was lookin in a mirrah!

I remember that too! But that was James Remar? Wow…I don't remember him as a James Remar type at all.

Am I the only one hearing this in the voices of the parking-instructions-over-the-PA couple from Airplane?

They show movies at gay camp?
