Vitolio …
Did anyone else notice Karla's grimace during Vitolio's idea awkward "joshing around" with the audience and judges after there quickstep?

Philip and Jeanie haven't gotten jazz or contemporary yet. I would like to see what Mia Micheals could do with Philip's abilities.

Philip is absolutely the least versatile dancer they've had on the show for a the while, but the problem is that he can a dance in a style no one else can. Even compared to other pop-lockers, he's considered pretty idiosyncratic.

I agree about Brandon seeming dainty.

The judges obviously don't cast the show strictly on dancing ability.

CHBEEB!
I have a huge man-crush on Chbeeb, and knew he was a lock for the top 20 this year. I'm surprised they didn't so more footage of him dancing but the guy, legitimately, is one of the most creative hip hop dancers out there … he's practically invented his own style of popping.

Are people suggesting that Pearl Jam have ONLY produced 1 and a half truly CLASSIC rock albums, and they've pitifully spent the last fifteen years carving out a solid and lucrative musical career, with minimal corporate interference and mostly on their own terms?
THOSE FUCKING LOSERS! How dare they be less than

Wall-E was overrated. The first hour was pretty much perfect, but the back thirty was pretty formulaic, frankly. The sly, clever parody of consumer culture that began as the subtext for the film degenerated into a rather obvious, saccharine and slightly hypocritical pro-environment "statement" by the end.

I glad I'm not the only one. He seems to get lumped in with Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, or Louis CK by default, but I just don't see him on their level.

David Cross
I enjoyed Mr. Show and Arrested Development as much as anybody. But the more I listened to his stand-up, the more I question his actual talent.

I remember picking up an issue of the Believer, and being shocked by how pretentious and uninteresting it actually was. This is the magazine everyone is hipstering about?

Thank you, I thought I was the only one that hated Gladiator. I still don't understand how a pretentious and extended version of Bloodsport won Best Picture.

Raising Arizona, maybe. But Adaptation? I think Spike Jonze and Kaufmann deserve the pass on that one.

Also, is it just me, or is Spike Lee HORRIBLE at writing female characters?

Anyone see A Huey P Newton Story? It was more Roger Gunvere-Smith's masterpiece than Spike Lees. But I still thought it as excellent.

You see, I think the spirit of the lifetime grudge is that there was something that you liked about the artist's work to begin with, but they did something so irredeemable it forced you to completely re-evaluate your original judgement.

I've been a Spike Lee apologist for a while now. He hasn't hit my grudge point yet, but I've definitely given up on him doing anything that even compares to Do the Right Thing. He only had one great movie in him.

George Lucas …
is the poster boy of the Lifetime Grudge. The Star Wars prequels made me realize how sloppy and hacky the original Star Wars Trilogy actually was.

Jon Travolta and Nicolas Cage
How many chances have we've given Travolta?

Not at all. There is very little historical context provided, which is one of the films greater weaknesses.
