No one actually knows why kids liked Boba Fett. He was a useless jobber with a cool outfit.

You seemingly don't. You could read their oppinions. That's what he said. He doesn't like videos.

I don't think that's entirely true. As he mentions in the article, Plinkett is often describing why the movie's script is UNUSUAL. You can't carry a lot of the screenwriting critiques across every great film ever made - because great films often break the rules. Execution matters more than geeks care to admit. That's

To be fair, A New Hope is prettttty fucking bad.

I hate these movies, but respect the attempt to point out the weird "film criticism as math" bullshit youtube critics churn out. When you treat any creative decision that veers from the established "rules" as an inherent mistake - you forgo the right to call that work art. Trying something and failing doesn't mean you

That I will support!
Maybe next time it won't even be produced by someone famous!

Jokes aside, D&D nerds have never been social introverts. It's a game that basically requires you have 5 close friends who wanna hang out every week.

I literally clicked this because I knew it would piss me off. I have a problem, internet!

Your mileage certainly may vary. It's a weird industry and I'm not an expert.

I'm just interpreting her text as written and not assuming that she's implying more than that.

To be fair, I have never worked for a producer or director who spends time, "contemplating what angle he should use to have his voice heard."
I myself, so spend such time, but I am a sound guy and not a guy who Jennifer Lawrence works for.

She didn't say that though. Re-read what she wrote.

What kind of spoiled brat doesn't keep an abacus in the house????

I don't have a lot to say about it. I'm not a big supporter of IV, but I know people who did enjoy it who'd agree that the trailer made things seem like comedic moments that were much less so in the actual film so I hope it doesn't come across like a total drive-by shit post .

ok

On the flip side, some trailer editors outdo the actual source material by cutting things tougher to make it seem hysterical. Inherent Vice's trailer always made me laugh out loud. I was stone faced during the actual film.

Theaters… where their movies are showing…?
